MISSIONS MISSION TRIP TO MCALLEN, TEXAS

Still need plans for Spring Break? Serve alongside your whole family on the USMexico border on March 16–21. Support the work of home-church missionaries, Jon and Libby White, who serve at the Rio Grande Bible College. Ministry will include leading a kids missions program during the annual student missions conference, organizing and collecting for the student used clothes closet ministry, and other campus service projects (painting, light construction, cleaning). MIDDLE SCHOOL MISSION DALLAS

We are now accepting applications for Mission Dallas 2020 (June 2125). Mission Dallas is an awesome opportunity for students finishing 7th and 8th grade in the 2019–2020 school year to serve our city during an overnight mission trip. Plus, they will have fun building deeper relationships! We will be serving with Casa Del Lago in the Bachman Lake community by leading a summer reading camp for kids. A native of Jenison, Michigan, Kevin graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, with a B.A. in religion. He earned his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He received his doctorate in Early Modern History at the University of Leicester in the UK. His research has focused on the theology of John Witherspoon, a Scottish-American Presbyterian theologian who was a founding father of the United States. Before accepting the call to lead Christ Covenant, Kevin served as pastor of University Reformed Church in East Lansing, Michigan. Kevin is a member of the Council and blogs for The Gospel Coalition. He regularly speaks at churches, conferences, colleges, and seminaries in North America and overseas. He has published more than a dozen books for adults and children. In addition to his primary responsibility as senior pastor at Christ Covenant Church, Kevin is an Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. He was formerly a Chancellor’s Professor for the Seminary. Be sure to bring a friend to hear Kevin preach on Sunday, March 15.
