eed a good book to kick-off the new year? Check out these new pages in our library. For adults, check out George Marsden's A Short Life of Jonathan Edwards, which proves easier to read than his more definitive book on this subject. We also have D. A. Carson’s Collected Writings on Scripture, which presents a classic defense of the Holy Scripture’s authority. Or see Piper's and Mathis's With Calvin in the Theater of God: The Glory of Christ and Everyday Life. Another great resource is Fred Zaspel's The Theology of B.B. Warfield, which offers a systematic summary of Warfield's work. For juniors, peruse Brian Jacques's Doomwyte, which is part of the Redwall series or Ann Martin's The Doll People, which discusses the interaction between two families—one old and china and one new and plastic. For children, you can enjoy Bobbie Kalman's Spotlight on Australia, which is a brief introduction to the Land Down Under or David Elliott's On the Farm, which presents the animals through simple verse and wonderful woodcut illustrations. Happy reading!
