Being fairly new to Dallas, I feel blessed that the Lord led me to this Bible study group. Our precious group leaders (Helen and Joanie) were so warm and encouraging to everyone, which opened the door for all our members to share amazing truths about how God uses us, as He did so many relatable, imperfect characters from the book of Genesis. Each Thursday, however, the “icing on the cake” was always Kay’s amazing lectures, as she delivered such fresh insight to our lesson! I am already looking forward to the fall and plunging back into the Word together!

“ “ “ I cannot get over how incredible the children’s program was. It blows my mind that both my girls got to be in such a loving and educational environment. It’s my favorite part of the week to be able to attend Bible study for myself but also to know that my children are being fed and enjoy their time there so much. I am beyond grateful for all of you and cannot wait to return the favor to young moms when my time has come!

Christin Brown

Our ministers do a fantastic job of interpreting the Bible and applying it to our everyday life. I look forward to each lesson as I leave with a new perspective of God’s Word.

The study in Judges was surprisingly relevant and challenging for today. Without a king the ancient Israelites did what seemed right in their own eyes and plunged deeper into evil. I was challenged to realize that apart from Jesus, the King of kings, the world I live in has no moral compass either. It made me grateful for my Savior and challenged me to follow Him.

Bob Abegg

Young Women’s Bible Study has been the highlight of my spring semester! Through this study, I’ve learned about trusting in God’s Word, the importance of repentance, and the need for a savior. My favorite part of this study was the opportunity to build strong, meaningful, and faithful friendships with my small group.

The Men’s Bible Study on Judges has helped me see the relevance of that book not only to the current world but also for my own heart and story. The pastors made the struggles of men like Gideon and Samson relevant to my own walk, and our table group provided a place to dive deeper into themes of complacency, idolatry, ambition, and God’s strength in our weakness. Judges is not just a book of old stories from a depressing time in Israel’s history, but a testimony to the dangers of leaning on our own strength and an invitation to see the consistent mercy of our loving God.
