FAITH & CULTURE: LIGON DUNCAN

FEBRUARY 19 | 5:00 P.M. | SANCTUARY

How do we maintain unity in the church and extend Christ to the world as political polarization continues to increase around us? In a world where people are full of contempt for those with whom they disagree, we will consider how we can live as disciples of Christ with wisdom, humility, and love.”

PCPC WOMEN’S RETREAT

February 24-26, 2023

Join us for a relaxing getaway connecting with women from our church family. Enjoy worship, teaching, meals, and time abiding with the Lord at the beautiful Allaso Ranch in Hawkins, Texas. Registration is $250. If you must cancel your registration for any reason, you will receive a refund minus $50 until February 1st. After Feb. 1st, there are no refunds, and your registration fee will be given as a scholarship for someone else to attend the retreat.

Once registered, you will receive an email at a later date where you will specify your roommate requests. The cabins sleep 8 lower bunks. If you have friends you would like to be in your cabin, remind them to register! Please make sure all in your party have registered before submitting requests.

Author and teacher Courtney Garrett will help us uncover how a posture of confident expectation in the Lord can shape how we view our seasons of waiting, culminating in our patient longing for His return.

We hope you can join us for another incredible weekend away!

Crates for Ukraine

January 2 through March 16

PCPC long-time missionaries, Masha & Doug Shepherd have asked US churches to help. This endeavor is to provide personal and humanitarian aid from the hands of our churches in the US to the hands of MTW Ukrainian churches and believing displaced communities. The winter CFU initiative is that we no longer need couriers to fly crates to Poland. All crates will be delivered to either Dallas or Chattanooga. We have (2) partner shipping companies that are helping us collect, palletize, fly and deliver aid to Lviv. These companies are providing their services to us for free!

Italy High School Trip

March 10 - March 18 (Spring Break)

Through sports, games, and English conservations, we hope to extend the love of Christ with the high schoolers of Sesto Calende, a small town outside of Milan. We will join up with missionaries, Terrance and Hillary Luker, who are eager to welcome us and share their Italian setting with us! We hope you’ll join us for pizza, pasta, and praise! Registration closed.

McAllen Family Trip

March 14 - March 18 (Spring Break)

We will be supporting the work of homechurch missionaries, Jon and Libby White, who serve at the Rio Grande Bible College, just north of the Mexican-American border. We have the opportunity to help Jon and Libby by hosting a childrens’ camp during their annual student missions conference. This is a great opportunity for families to practice living out their faith together through games, Bible studies, and food! Registration closes February 15.

West Africa High School Trip June

24 - July 2

We will partner with a local presbyterian ministry, connecting over 200 children with the local church. Sport, games, food, music, and Bible studies are all on the agenda! Registration closed.

Middle School Mission Dallas June 26-29

Attention all Middle Schoolers! Mission Dallas is back this summer! We will extend Christ and serve with Casa Del Lago again and help lead a VBS-style camp in the afternoons. We will do day trips this summer. Students will meet in the morning to carpool to Casa Del Lago, and there will be fellowship activities each afternoon.

West Africa Family Trip

July 2 – July 11

Enjoy fellowship with church leaders in West Africa during a week of pastoral training, women’s ministry, and a Vacation Bible School program for pastors and their families. Families are welcome with children as young as 6 years of age! Come be a part of what God is already doing in West Africa! Registration closes March 15.

Bahamas Family Trip

July 8 - July 15

Join the team as we partner with home church missionaries, Christiana and Julian Russell, by hosting a children’s camp in Nassau. We will participate in the Bahamas Independence Day festivities before spending the next days leading kids though five leaning stations (VBS, reading, writing, STEM, and recreation). Be a part of bringing the hope and love of Jesus to the kids of the Bahamas! Registration closes March 15.
