French Riviera dealer for the legendary brand Riva, Monaco Boat Service holds, every other year, this owners gathering, which includes a concours d’elegance, navigation contest, stylish parties and convivial moments!

« Riva Trophy » ou « Riva Raduni » pour les Italiens. Ce rassemblement est exclusivement réservé aux propriétaires de bateaux Riva, anciens ou modernes. Il se tient tous les deux ans entre Monaco, Cannes et Saint-Tropez, hauts lieux du yachting et de la jet-set. Pour cette édition 2018, une vingtaine d’équipages venus de France, d’Italie, de Suisse, du Portugal mais également du Moyen-Orient se sont présentés au pied du Rocher pour le briefing officiel. Sur le plan d’eau, quelques bijoux comme des Aquariva, Aquarama, un rare Riva 50 Diablo, un 88’ Domino, le 63’ Virtus ou encore un 76’ Perseo flambant neuf. Au programme du week-end, un concours de régularité entre Monaco et Saint-Tropez, un mouillage puis un déjeuner à Pampelonne devant la plage de Jumeaux avant un concours d’élégance non loin du mythique port de Saint-Tropez cher à Brigitte Bardot. Les participants devaient choisir une tenue et décorer leur bateau sur le thème de la Méditerranée, d’Ibiza à Bodrum en passant par Portofino ou encore Mykonos. Ambiance assurée !
"Riva Trophy" is also known as "Riva Raduni" for Italians. This gathering is reserved for Riva boat owners, whether old or modern. It is being held every other year in Monaco, Cannes or Saint-Tropez, hot spots for both yachting and the jet-set. For this 2018 edition some 20 crews from France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal as well as the Middle-East met at the foot of the ‘Rocher’ for the official briefing. On the water there were jewels like the Aquariva, Aquarama, a rare Riva 50 Diablo, a Domino 88’, the Virtus 63’ and also a brand new Perseo 76’. Plans for the week-end included a regularity contest from Monaco to Saint-Tropez, mooring and lunch in Pampelonne facing Jumeaux Beach, and a concours d’elegance close from the legendary Saint-Tropez harbour so dear to Brigitte Bardot. Participants had to choose an outfit and decorate their boats according to a Mediterranean theme, from Ibiza to Bodrum, Portofino and Mykonos. What an experience!

MONACO BOAT SERVICE Dans la Principauté, Monaco Boat Service est une véritable institution. Cette société qui est dirigée par Lia Riva, fille du regretté Carlo Riva (fondateur de la marque du même nom) assure la distribution des bateaux à moteur et motor-yachts Riva sur la Côte d’Azur (Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez) depuis 1959. Date à laquelle Carlo Riva décida de construire un tunnel, avec la bénédiction du Prince Rainier, pour y abriter ses fameux runabouts en acajou. Près de soixante ans plus tard, c'est dans ce même tunnel que fut organisé, avec une certaine pointe d'émotion, le briefing du Riva Trophy 2018 !
Monaco Boat Service is a true institution in the Principality. Managed by Lia Riva, daughter of the late Carlo Riva (founder of the eponymous brand) the company has handled sales for Riva motor-boats and motor-yachts on the French Riviera (Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez) since 1959. That year Carlo Riva, with the blessing of Prince Rainier, decided to build a tunnel to shelter his famous mahogany runabouts. Nearly 60 years later the tunnel still exists and there was a genuine emotion when the 2018 Riva Trophy briefing was held there!
