Following the mission to provide consumers access to the newest innovations available, more than thirty HEAD racquets are now compatible with Sony’s Smart Tennis Sensor. The sensor allows tennis players of all levels to evaluate and optimize their game based on their own individual stats right on the spot.

1 Remove the racket logo cap, afﬁx the HEAD attachment ring onto the grip end of the racket, place the sensor onto the HEAD attachment ring as per the indicating arrow and turn until it clicks into its secure holding position.

2 Install the app on your smartphone and follow the instructions on the screen to connect the sensor.

Open the app, register your Sony Entertainment Network SEN / PlayStation(TM) Network(PSN) account and conﬁgure your user information. If you already have a SEN / PSN account, the settings can be conﬁgured smoothly.

Once attached to the butt cap of the compatible HEAD racquet via the special HEAD attachment ring, the small sensor allows displaying real-time shot visualizations on smartphones and tablets and – if the session has been captured with video – the simultaneous viewing of recorded videos and shot metrics.

MONOFILAMENT MonoÔlament strings have a simple construction, as they are extruded as a single Ôlament that is stretched until the desired diameter or dimension is obtained. They are highly engineered products, due to the special Polyester material and the additives which are combined in complex production processes enhancing speciÔc properties.

MultiÔlament strings are complex. They are a twisted construction with hundreds or even thousands of synthetic micro-Ôlaments. These micro-Ôlaments can be different dimensions, shapes or materials. HEAD uses traditional round Ôlaments and also specially engineered ribbons. The micro-Ôlaments are assembled within a synthetic resin matrix to create a softer impact feeling or more lively touch. The strings are then coated with a thin layer of thermoplastic material, with special additives that increase wear resistance and ensure perfect realignment after every shot. MultiÔlament strings are very arm friendly, comfortable and powerful, providing a high level of performance.

The elasticity of these strings provides excellent control and spin, and the combination of structure and material guarantees long lasting performance for high level players. The cross section can be engineered in a variety of ways: shaped to increase bite on the ball and spin potential, and coated to maximize wear resistance and improve string movement.
