PDI-SAT’s MDU SYSTEM OPERATOR PROGRAM YOUR ONE-STOP MSO FOR EQUIPMENT, PROGRAMMING & SUPPORT PDI–SAT is a Master System Operator (MSO) for DIRECTV™. As an MSO, PDI-SAT forms relationships with individual companies (designated as System Operators or SO’s) desiring to perform DIRECTV service activations in Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) properties such as Apartments, Condominiums, Townhomes, Assisted Living facilities, Institutions, Lodging, Universities, and Gated Communities. A System Operator (SO) forms a business relationship with Multiple-Dwelling Unit properties, wherein they act as the DIRECTV Video Service Provider. A System Operator will obtain a “Right of Entry” (ROE) contract from the property owner/management detailing the conditions of service. A System Operator will design and install a signal video distribution system and perform all ongoing customer service functions.

System Operator Program Overview The Requirements In order to qualify as a PDI-SAT MDU System Operator, the following criteria need to be met: o You are a Satellite, Private Cable, Construction or a SIMILAR company. o Your company must become MFH2 SBCA Certified. For SBCA testing, go to www.pdisat.com/sbca.php or enroll in the next PDIU class. o Your company has a good reputation and solid management team. o Your company has a strong financial backing, solid credit history or good financial standing. o Your company needs to have verifiable trade and bank references.

If a startup, we require a business plan. o Your company must provide customer service within the geographic area in timely manner.

The Documents to be Submitted o Signed MDU System Operator Agreement. o System Operator Credit Application (go to www.pdisat.com; click on the System Operator link on left side of page). o Your company Resale Certificate (for California and Florida companies only). o Your company SBCA Certification or application/intent for next available training session. o Your W-9 form (tax form for independent contractors). o Signed DIRECTV Buy-down Agreement.

DIRECTV MDU Distribution Options D T H ( D ir ec t T o Home L -B an d D is tr ib u t ion ) o Individual customers are billed full residential rates by DIRECTV. There is a DIRECTV receiver at each television. o A Programming Commitment is required (the “End Date” for the programming commitment is determined by DIRECTV).

BULK (D Di git a l B u lk L- Ban d D is t r ib u tion ) Type of customer is a “TMU” (Total Choice Multi Unit) o The HOA or Property Management is billed for 100% of the units on the property at a discounted rate which is included in the HOA fees or rent. The monthly bill for the Bulk service must be paid by either a credit card or an EFT. o Registration of a Bulk Property requires a Bulk Addendum completed by the property with the billing and payment information. A three year commitment is required. o Third party billing is allowed with proper credit approval only.

Total Choice Limited (T TDC) - Analog Bulk (H Head End) o Offer is for 48 channels from the Choice Limited package in an analog format (head end) at the bulk rate of $13.99 with locals. o The service must be available to 100% of the units within the complex. o The Master billing account will be created with the property name and address, credit card or EFT (no exceptions) and mailed to the main office of the service address. o Third party billing will not be allowed (no exceptions).
