LOL Improv (TC)

If you enjoy comedy, laughing, having a good time, or acting, this class is for you! You’ll create characters, play awesome theater games, improvise, develop social skills, and be spontaneous as you learn about the creative art of improvisation and sketch comedy. This is one class you don’t want to miss and you are personally invited to come and play, create, and laugh out loud! They say laughter is the best medicine, therefore this class should be taken on a regular basis. For health and safety reasons all participants are required to wear a mask and will be practicing social distancing.

Little Actors Club (TC)

Children love this innovative drama class that develops their imagination and introduces them to the performing arts in a fun and creative atmosphere. Each week is a new and exciting adventure into the imagination with changing themes, music, AND GAMES. Participants learn theater terms and a new joke every week, enhance spontaneity, build self-esteem, and have plenty of fun in this delightful class. Most themes are not repeated for two years so “act” now! For health and safety reasons all participants are required to wear a mask and will be practicing social distancing. Participants are encouraged to wear their own costume; themes for upcoming classes will be announced on a weekly basis.

ROCK ‘N’ KIDS IN PERSON PROGRAMS

Wiggle, giggle, dance and sway, have some fun the Rock ‘n’ Kids way! Tot Rock and Kid Rock are movement-based learning and imaginative play classes with music. Rock ‘n’ Kids is Rockin’ at Home! (TC)

Sing, dance, play and learn YOUR way in this virtual music and movement class! Students will receive an email from Rock ‘n’ Kids Mondays at 8 a.m. with that week’s pre-recorded, private, 30-minute virtual class, allowing families to participate on their own time. Activities will include opening songs, weekly theme introduction, 5-6 additional music activities, and closing songs. Along with class content, supplemental activities will be included to enhance your child’s learning. Class activities will involve rhythm, fine and gross motor, imaginative play, sensory integration and listening skills. Innovation Arts Connection

Innovation Arts Connection is proud to announce our first hybrid season of in person and virtual dance classes! Now you can access our amazing community-based program at your local community center or from the comfort of your home! Our progressive curriculum focuses on dance concepts and core techniques. We stress the importance of respect, positive attitude and hard work. In our classes students will develop grace, rhythm, coordination, creativity, and confidence in a fun, safe and structured environment. Additional resources such as weekly non-screen dance activities, coloring pages, Spotify playlists and more will be provided to all dancers. During a global pandemic the IAC in person and virtual studio offers stability, a sense of community, socialization and structure. We look forward to seeing you in class! Park Studio Classes

The Park Studio program track is a studio program designed around the Park District community culture. This track is for dancers of all ages and experience levels who are looking for a full season commitment with a final recital. Within this program, participants can engage in core studio-level dance classes as well as hybrid, combination classes. All Park Studio classes will participate in the Spring Recital--6/6/2021, Costume & Performance Fees included. All park studio classes are held at the Park District of La Grange’s Recreation Center. In the event of inclement weather or Covid-19 shutdowns classes will be held virtual on Zoom.

Discover Dance with Me (TC)

Explore the joy of movement with your child and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing, and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities. Through circle activities, open exploration, and gross motor development exercises, children will blossom with class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together. Discover Dance Stories (TC)

Discover the magic of imaginative play with live singing, structured explorations, and skill development. Our Discover Dance classes offer an outlet for creative expression, physical growth, and social interaction. Children will explore the essence of movement that will lead to the discovery of multiple styles of dance. Please wear leotard, footless tights, (boys-comfortable clothing), ballet shoes or bare feet.

Live Virtual Dance Parties (TC)

Live Virtual Dance Parties include an afternoon of dance technique, movement games, a mini-performance and much more! Participants of all levels are encouraged to get involved through this camp-style class that is designed to help participants fill their week with fun, educational, and movement oriented programming. All participants will receive a private Zoom invitation to the Dance Party and will participate in the comfort of their home at a specific time with their dance teacher. Dancers will be able to interact with other dancers and dance teachers live. Themed outfits and costumes are encouraged.
