Beginning Guitar (TC)

This guitar class is set up for beginning students and will teach them how to play and jam with their peers. Emphasis is placed on having fun while learning! Along with guitar playing essentials, students will learn guitar skills through playing classic pop songs. LOL Improv (TC)

If you enjoy comedy, laughing, having a good time, or acting, this class is for you! You’ll create characters, play awesome theater games, improvise, develop social skills, and be spontaneous as you learn about the creative art of improvisation. This is one class you don’t want to miss and you are personally invited to come and play, create, and laugh out loud! They say laughter is the best medicine therefore this class should be taken on a regular basis. For health and safety reasons all participants are required to wear a mask and will be practicing social distancing. Each session is different so sign up for both!

Innovation Arts Connection

Connecting communities to creative arts--that is what we do at Innovation Arts Connection! Now you can access our amazing community-based programs at your local community center or from the comfort of your home! Our progressive curriculum focuses on dance concepts and core techniques as well as teaching the importance of respect, positive attitude and hard work. In our classes students will develop grace, rhythm, coordination, creativity, and confidence in a fun, safe and structured environment. During a global pandemic the IAC in person and virtual studio offers stability, a sense of community, socialization and structure. We look forward to seeing you in class! Seasonal Classes

The seasonal classes invite participants to engage in condensed sessions as a way to experiment, explore or jump-start their involvement in the park studio dance program. All classes held at Park District of La Grange’s Recreation Center. In the event of inclement weather or Covid-19 shut downs classes will be held virtual on Zoom.

Virtual Classes

The virtual classes invite participants to engage with IAC educators and other virtual students from the comfort of their own homes. All participants will receive a private Zoom invitation to their class and will participate in the comfort of their home at a specific time with their dance teacher and an in person class. Dancers will be able to interact with other dancers and dance teachers live. Virtual dancers can also request private virtual dance lessons with an IAC dance educator. Explore the joy of movement with your child and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing, and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities. Discover the magic of imaginative play with live singing, structured explorations, and skill development. Our Discover Dance classes offer an outlet for creative expression, physical growth, and social interaction. Children will explore the essence of movement that will lead to the discovery of multiple styles of dance. Please wear comfortable clothing and bare feet. Jazz music and dance evolved over the years into the popular style of Hip Hop! Summer Dance Camps (TC)

Dance Camps are a condensed day sessions of dance technique, movement games, crafts, a mini-performance and much more! Participants of all levels are encouraged to get involved through these camp-style classes that are designed to help participants fill their day with fun, educational, and movement oriented programming. All classes include dance technique, choreography, movement games, a craft and more. Wear comfortable form-fitting clothing, dance shoes or bare feet. Please bring a water bottle.

Royal Dance Camp

Ballet technique, movement games, and choreography to your favorite prince/ princess themed stories.

Zombie Dance Camp

Hip Hop technique, movement games, and choreography to a Zombie theme.

Tween Tik Tok Workshop
