ROCK ‘N’ KIDS IN PERSON PROGRAMS

Wiggle, giggle, dance and sway, have some fun the Rock ‘n’ Kids way! Tot Rock and Kid Rock are movement-based learning and imaginative play classes with music. All class procedures are designed to keep staff and students safe. Activities are age appropriate by class and will include songs and rhymes, rhythm and coordination, fine and gross motor, imagination and sensory, listening and following directions skills. Rock ‘n’ Kids is Rockin’ at Home! (TC)

Sing, dance, play and learn YOUR way in this virtual music and movement class! Students will receive an email from Rock ‘n’ Kids Mondays at 8 a.m. with that week’s pre-recorded, private, 30-minute virtual class, allowing families to participate on their own time. Activities will include opening songs, weekly theme introduction, 5-6 additional music activities, and closing songs. Along with class content, supplemental activities will be included to enhance your child’s learning. Class activities will involve rhythm, fine and gross motor, imaginative play, sensory integration and listening skills. Beginning Guitar (TC)

Beginning Violin (TC) This guitar class is for beginning students and will teach them how to Get started on learning violin fundamentals! Group violin classes provide play and jam with their peers. Emphasis is placed on having fun while a great introduction and foundation for future music instruction. Students learning! Along with guitar playing essentials, students will learn guitar will learn proper violin technique and music-reading skills in a group skills through playing classic pop songs. Essential guitar skills and basic setting, where they will receive proper personal attention while allowing note-reading are taught in a fun, supportive setting that allows students for small ensemble playing. Innovation Arts Connection

Innovation Arts Connection is proud to announce our first hybrid season of in person and virtual dance classes! Now you can access our amazing community-based program at your local community center or from the comfort of your home! Our progressive curriculum focuses on dance concepts and core techniques. We stress the importance of respect, positive attitude and hard work. In our classes students will develop grace, rhythm, coordination, creativity, and confidence in a fun, safe and structured environment. Additional resources such as weekly non-screen dance activities, coloring pages, Spotify playlists and more will be provided to all dancers. During a global pandemic the IAC in person and virtual studio offers stability, a sense of community, socialization and structure. We look forward to seeing you in class!

In Person Seasonal Classes

The in person seasonal classes invite participants to engage in condensed sessions as a way to experiment, explore or jump-start their involvement in the park dance program. All classes concluded with a Virtual Family Observation Day. In the event of inclement weather or COVID-19 shut downs classes will be held virtual on Zoom.

Park Studio Classes

The Park Studio program track is a studio program designed around the Park District community culture. This track is for dancers of all ages and experience levels who are looking for a full season commitment with a final recital. Within this program, participants can engage in core studio-level dance classes as well as hybrid, combination classes. All Park Studio classes will participate in the Spring Recital on 6/6/2021, Costume Fees not included. In the event of inclement weather or COVID-19 shut downs classes will be held virtual on Zoom.

Live Virtual Classes

The live virtual classes invite participants to engage with in person class from the comfort of their own homes. All participants will receive a private Zoom invitation to their class and will participate in the comfort of their own home at a specific time with their dance teacher and an in person class. Dancers will be able to interact with other dancers and dance teachers live. Virtual dancers can enjoy any seasonal or park studio dance class virtually. Virtual dancers will not participate in Spring Recital but will learn technique and choreography with Park Studio Classes. Virtual dancers can also request private virtual dance lessons with an IAC dance educator. Discover Dance with Me (TC)

Explore the joy of movement with your child and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing, and play in both oneon-one activities and group activities. Through circle activities, open exploration, and gross motor development exercises, children will blossom with class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together. 28 Park District of La Grange Live Virtual Dance Parties (TC)

Live Virtual Dance Parties include an afternoon of dance technique, movement games, a mini-performance and much more! Participants of all levels are encouraged to get involved through this Camp-style class that is designed to help participants fill their week with fun, educational, and movement oriented programming. All participants will receive a private Zoom invitation to the Dance Party and will participate in the comfort of their home at a specific time with their dance teacher.
