SPECIALTY FITNESS CLASS MAKE UP POLICY

Missed specialty fitness classes may be made up during the same session in which you are registered. All you need to do when you want to make up the in-person class is sign in with the instructor at the classroom - write the DATE and NAME of the class you missed on the Make-up Attendance Sheet each instructor will have. For missed Zoom classes, please email kevinmiller@pdlg.org to request your make-up date and the Zoom link for that class will be sent to you.
Please Note:
• Classes can only be made up after the missed classed date • Classes can only be made up during the current session. There are NO carry overs to the next session. • Contact the front desk at 708-352-1762 to check if the class you want to attend is running. • Space and equipment is limited. Registered participants have priority over make up class participants. • Missed classes are verified by the Program Supervisor on a weekly basis. • Does not include La Grange Fitness classes.

• Zoom links will be sent to all registered participants by 9:00pm the evening prior to your scheduled class. In some cases it will be sent 48-72 hours in advance of your class • If you are registering for a Hybrid class and would like to participate via
Zoom, please email kevinmiller@pdlg.org • It is recommended that virtual participants sign on no later than 5 minutes prior to class starting • Participants signing in after class has started may be delayed getting into the class

Restorative Yoga (KM)
Restorative yoga might best be described as a supported, conscious mind/body relaxation practice. When supported with props, the poses can be held longer and without muscular effort to decrease tensions. This class is open to all fitness levels.

Breath & Chakra Activation (KM)
With the impact and continual pressure of Covid-19 and other stressors we may find ourselves at a psychological, physical, spiritual plateau. Our 7 main chakras are best described as energy hubs or centers that maintain the flow of spiritual energy from your Root Chakra to your Crown Chakra. Like a train passing through stations (chakras) to a final destination, these stations may become closed off with negativity and you begin to lose your spiritual system functionality. Join Loni to activate your diaphragm which may be closed due to stress, fear, improper breathing and clear the energy blockages from your chakras. Please bring a yoga mat and a blanket.
