It’s a Boy
Announcing the newest addition to the Windyview Team in Omemee. Matthew and Jennie Ormiston along with big sister Amelia are thrilled to announce the arrival of Cameron Kristopher, weighing in at 9 lb., 6 oz. on December 20, 2012. Cameron is welcomed by his loving grandparents Michael and Christine Ormiston.

Defoort –Michiels Wed
Dave Defoort and Jen Michiels, of Holland, MB, were married on the Michiels’ farm just south of Holland on Sept 28th. The ceremony took place in a 1959 elevator just before sunset, on a perfect fall day. The reception followed on their farm just south of Cypress River. Dave is the son of Gord and Sue Defoort, Defoort Stock Farm, Cypress River, MB.
Barkers Celebrate 50th Anniversary
Charlie and Linda Barker, Bar‐Lin Acres, ON, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on December 15, 2012. The celebration included a party and dance at the Hagersville Community Centre. Generosity of guests resulted in substantial donations to the Hagersville and Port Dover Food Banks.
Jackson Re-elected to Canadian Western Agribition Board
Bob Jackson, Bo‐Jan Enterprises, Sylvania, SK, was re‐elected to the Canadian Western Agribition board for another two year term. Bob served as the head barn boss in his previous term. The board is pictured at their AGM, Bob is 4th from the left in the front row.
By Receives Service Award
Helge By was given a 25 Year Service Pin for volunteer work for Canadian Western Agribition at their Volunteer Appreciation Night following their AGM. He has served on various committees over the years, but has most enjoyed his time on the Agribiton’s Beef Supreme Challenge committee. He is pictured with General Manager Marty Seymour and Past President Bryan Hadliand.
