Good Ole Boys
One morning we are standing on the front porch of this cabin we had rented and a big bee landed on my arm. We start looking around and found that there was this giant bee hive right at the front of the porch in some kind of plant. I mean giant. This thing was about as big as two basketballs. It was hooked on a limb that was starting to hang down from its weight. We all got away from it as soon as we saw it, except Buster. He wanted to look it over more and started moving the limb that it was on. Well, you know what happened then, yep those bees started coming out and he got away quick and I mean quick. But, not quick enough, one of the bees stung him right on his head, right over his right eye. That made him mad so he decided that he was going to take this thing down. That this was going to be a nice trophy to take home. I can still remember holding their youngest son, Bret while Buster started his plan of cutting the limb the hive was on. Everybody was in the house looking through windows or from behind screens as he cut the limb and took off running. I can still see him as he ran wide open across the front of the cabin and down the road with the bee hive way out in front of him and a large swarm of bees hot on his heels. What a site. Soon he was out of site. A few minutes later he comes back walking holding this giant bee hive out in front of him. As he came up to the porch, he didn’t look so good. The bees had stung him alright and had done a good job of it too. He had large whelps on his face, arms and neck. He looked terrible. Just terrible. But, he did have the giant bee hive. He stuffed all the holes with toilet paper and put the hive at the end of the porch. Yep, he was going to take that thing home no matter what. We didn’t have anything to put on those whelps, so we decided to go to town. After we got him all doctored up, we started walking around town looking at stuff. We found this large statue of a bald eagle. It was very impressive. My wife wanted me to buy it and said that she wanted to take it home, so of course I did and she put it in the bus. Buster found a big set of bull horns from some long horn bull. He fell in love with them and put them in the bus as well. We were in this store looking at bull whips and different things when our youngest son comes running in from outside screaming at the top of his lungs. Dad, dad, look, a bee stung me right in the eye. Well everyone in that store knew what had happened. He had been bitten right between the eyes from a bee. It was just over his left eye, pretty much right between the eyes alright. What luck, huh. I guess they have a lot of bees in Tennessee. Everybody got stung that vacation except my wife. What a time we were having. You know up in Tennessee there are a lot of trout farms. That’s where you can go and catch your own trout. So we thought we might go give this fish farm a try. It was everything people had said about it. Big pond with lots of fish. All you had to do was put some corn on the hook and throw it out there and shazam, there is a fish. There Is Darkness Moving In On Our Country
There has been darkness moving through mankind since the Garden of Eden. After Adam and Eve’s sin Volume I: the first family had jealously and violence that caused one brother to kill the other. Hatred, violence and lawlessness have followed mankind through all human history. Most people have little understanding of this evil. This is where the real danger lies because the enemy of our souls lies in the darkness where he continues to kill, steal and destroy; John 10:10. In Isaiah 14 the prince of darkness is called out by name. Isaiah 14:12-14 tells us, How art thou fallen from heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning. How art thou are cut down to the ground, which weakens the nations. For thou said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most high. Ezekiel 28:14-15 tells us that Lucifer was a cherub anointed by God. He was one of the high ranking angels in heaven. Today he hates God and everything he stands for. When God created Adam in the Garden his composition had the ability to function in all 3 Heavens. Man’s Holy Spirit connected to the 3rd Heaven and God’s throne. Man’s soul connected to the 2nd Heaven with the immortals whose job it was to oversee the welfare of humanity. Now man’s human body connects to the 1st Heaven, the Earth or ground, so when Lucifer was cast out of Heaven he was cast to our Earth. Mankind became infected with evil and became slaves to sin. Being a slave to sin, humanity serves as harvesting fields for the Kingdom of Darkness. As sinful man began to spread upon the earth, the river of darkness began to swell within the 2nd Heaven. Romans 5:12-14 tells us one man, Adam, caused sin to enter our world and sin causes death so death passed upon all men for everyone sins now. In the eyes of God, death would separate all infected from his presence and his Kingdom. It was because of God’s grace that he provided the Mosaic Law and the law told what sin is. The law gave temporary atonement for sin and built the legal grounds on which Jesus would redeem us from the power of sin. The finished work of Christ on the cross redeemed humanity back from the Kingdom of Darkness. Jesus shed blood set us free from the power of sin. Folks, sin and sinful acts give Satan his power in the Kingdom of Darkness. Folks remember Christ can break this bondage Satan has over you. All you have to do is repent of your sins, accept and follow Jesus & his ways and teachings. He is the only one who has power over the evil one. Thank you.

Norman E. Chaudoin age 88, passed away on Sunday May 28, 2017 at his residence in Limestone, FL. He was born on November 22, 1928 in Wauchula, FL. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of an old pioneer family. Proudly serving in the U.S. Navy he was honorably discharged in 1952. He worked for General Dynamics in California and Kansas working with Cape Canaveral nuclear missiles. One of his greatest honors was to work on the missile that John Glenn flew on. He loved all forms of agriculture especially his vegetable gardening. Loving, providing for and spending time with his family was the highlight of his life. Survivors are his beloved wife Linda Mae, One son Norman P. Chaudoin (Rick) five stepchildren and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Vasco and Myra (Gause) Chaudoin. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 from 10-11am at Limestone Baptist Church 4868 Keystone Ave Ona, FL where funeral services will begin at 11am. Interment to follow in Lily Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to Limestone Baptist Church 4868 Keystone Ave. Ona, FL 33865. Online condolences maybe made at pongerkaysgrady.com. Julia Sims Waldron Age, 92 of Arcadia, Florida passed away on Friday May, 26, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice in Arcadia. Julia was born March 21, 1925 in Ocala, Florida and was a resident of the Arcadia area for the last 63 years. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and reading. She is survived by two sons, Joe (Betty) Waldron of Gainesville, FL and Bucky (Cindy) Waldron of Arcadia, FL. One daughter; V. Ann (Larry) Wilkes of Macon, GA and one brother Bill Sims of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene (Panny) Waldron Sr. and a daughter Frances Waldron. A graveside service was held on Tuesday May 30th at 10:00am at Joshua Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to Tidewell Hospice.
