Volume 1: We are now living nearing the end of the church age and the beginning of the age of the Kingdom of God. There are 6 major prophecies that might happen this New Year. A Mideast Peace Agreement is being pushed by Government. The Bible tells us when this happens the 7 year tribulation will start ending with the Battle of Armageddon and the 2nd coming of Christ. Protestants and Catholics will move toward unity. The Holy Roman Empire is starting to emerge. This will be the base of the Antichrist and False Prophet. A cashless society is developing rapidly. Many nations are already there. America is not far away. This system will bring on the prophesied Mark of the Beast. The Middle East this new year may sign a peace agreement. The peace agreement wants to establish a Palestinian state in the West Bank (Judea) of the Bible to allow the Jews to rebuild their 3rd temple on the Temple Mount and a few others. President has a peace plan to be revealed in early 2018. Prophecy reveals in Revelation 9:13-16 a war will begin in the Euphrates River area. This Euphrates River begins in Turkey, runs through Syria & Iraq and becomes a border between Iraq and Iran before emptying into the Persian Gulf. This river is mostly controlled by an Islamic nation. Many nations will be involved in this war. American and Russian troops are both there, both fighting Isis troops. The world is moving towards a global new world order. This means nationalism will convert to globalism, a nation state system changing to a system of a global government. America is against this system. Revelation 12:14 tells us America will defend Israel against the one world government system. When it comes, the Antichrist mentioned in the Bible will make his move. The Holy Roman Empire mentioned in the Bible will soon make a move. This empire ruled Europe from 800 AD to 1806 AD. The Bible prophesies the Antichrist and the False Prophet will come from here. The center of world power someday will shift to Europe. Is 2018 going to be the year a lot of biblical events is coming true? Folks keep your eyes on some of these prophecies mentioned this new year. Debra Jean Holligsworth went to be with the lord Sunday Feb. 18th, 2018 at her home. She was a fifth generation Arcadian. Debbie was born 4/09/1958 to the late Jessie Lamor Hollingsworth Jr. and Beatrice Newton Hollingsworth. Proceeded in death by Kirk Pike (brother), James Forrester Hall (brotherin-law). List of a few things Debbie loved to do are riding horses, running bird dogs, fishing, hunting, flying her plane, painting Florida natural landscape and was a prior DeSoto County Deputy. She is survived by loving friend Larry Yarger, Robert Dean Pike (Bob) (brother) and his wife Patricia Butts Pike, Ada Hall (sister) Robert Dean Pike II (Rob nephew) and his wife Stephanie Pike, Jimmy Forrester Hall II (nephew) and his wife Maria Hall, Greg Hall (nephew & his wife Megan Hall, Kelly Pike Lotze (niece & her husband Rob Lotze, Megan Pike Page (great niece) and husband Justin Page, great niece Klarissa M. Albritton & husband Garrett, great nephew Nickolas P. Tribble & wife Tracy, great niece Leah F. Hall, great nephew Gregory Hall, great nephew Ezekiel F. Hall, great niece Adalynn R. Hall, great niece Lillian F. Hall, niece Stacey Clemons and husband Gary Clemons. Great Great nieces Kopelyn & Karper Page. Charles Howard Spicer, age 59, passed away, Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Sarasota, FL. Charles was born in Northville, Michigan, December 7, 1958, moving to Arcadia in 1983 from Brighton, Michigan. Charles retired from the G. Pearce Wood Memorial Hospital, as a member of the ward staff. He enjoyed going to gospel concerts, attending church, and checking out antique cars. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Arcadia, FL. Survivors are his beloved wife, Rebecca Spicer, Arcadia, FL, his mother, Betty R. Spicer, Brighton, Michigan, one son, Johnnie Simison, Middleburg, FL, two brothers, Bill (Vicki) Spicer, and Mike (Julie) Kirby both of White Lake, Michigan, a sister, Denise Spicer, Brighton, Michigan, and three grandchildren, Austin Simison, Indiana, Benjamin and Bryn Simison both of Middelburg, FL. Charles is preceded in death by his father, William Arthur Spicer and one daughter, Heather Simison. A “Celebration of Life” for Charles will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 1509 East Oak Street, Arcadia, FL, at 11:00AM, March 3, 2018, with Reverend Scot Baker officiating. Gerrit (Jerry) Reier Stip, age 96, of Arcadia, formerly of Sarasota, FL and NYC NY, passed away comfortably at home on February 17, 2018. Jerry was born in NYC NY, and moved to Sarasota FL in 1978 and to Arcadia FL in 2008. In 1939, Jerry enlisted in the Navy, and in 1941 volunteered for Submarine duty shortly after the Pearl Harbor attack. He was assigned to the submarine USS Cod (SS224) as leading motor mechanic, and made 3 successful war patrols in the South Pacific during WW2. In 1943 he met Leona Romeo of NYC, and in 1945 married the love of his life. Upon discharge from the Navy, Jerry was appointed to the NYPD in 1951 as a patrolman, and was assigned to the 42nd precinct in the Bronx NY, adjacent to the infamous Fort Apache. In 1961, Jerry was promoted to Detective until his retirement in 1971. He then headed up a security team at Gelmart Industries in NYC, and after having his fill of cold weather, decided to relocate to FL for his 2nd retirement in 1978. Soon after arriving, Jerry was quickly appointed to the Manatee County FL Sherriff’s Department. By 1983 he proved his skills and was named Police Officer of the Year in Manatee County. Jerry left the Sherriff’s Department for his 3rd attempt at retirement to pursue his hobbies: golf, boating, fishing locally, and in Virginia Beach VA, traveling to visit friends and family, and quarterly visits to Las Vegas. Jerry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Patricia of Arcadia, FL, Brother Frank of Elizabethtown KY, sister Emily Daly of Cortland Manor NY, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 greatgreat grandchildren. Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Leona, and brother Reier. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Tidewell Hospice, 917 N. Arcadia Ave, Arcadia Fl 34266. Jerry’s wish is to be cremated, and ashes placed with his beloved wife, Leona, in Sarasota FL. No immediate memorial service is scheduled. Online condolences may be made at pongerkaysgrady.com.

Ellen Fleming Ulrich, Age 79 passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at her home in Ona, Florida. Ellen has been a resident of Ona for the last 25 years moving here from Fort Myers, Florida. She enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and camping with her family and friends. Ellen is survived by her husband, Roger Ulrich daughter Mona (Don) Kendall of Union Mills, North Carolina, one brother Jerry (Jeanette) Fleming of Toodyay, Australia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Wayne Beasley. A visitation will be held on Thursday February, 1, 2018 from 10-11am at PongerKays-Grady Funeral Home 50 North Hillsborough Avenue Arcadia, FL where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. interment to follow in Fort Ogden Cemetery. Chapter 5 by Bumpy Thermos I guess you could say I am very lucky to have time to take a nap during the day. Then we would be in perfect agreement. Napping during the day is awesome, really awesome. Maybe getting up early is part of the reason. Up at 6 then on tread mill by 7 then off to work by 9. So, by the afternoon when I slow down, it seems like the right thing to do. Besides, don’t they do a lot of that in Mexico? Siestas. Right? We know they are for sure not lazy, so that must be what hard working people do. You should try it sometime. Just be careful about having a crazy dream like me. You wouldn’t want to open your eyes and there see a great big stuffed bear sitting in the chair right across from you, just sitting there. You close your eyes again, just for a second, and then it’s sitting right in front of you. Oh yea, that’s scary. When I saw it sitting right in front of me, I was taken back. Real back. I assumed my wife was playing tricks on me so I yelled out for her that this was a good joke. She didn’t come, so I yelled again. No answer. Very funny I thought to myself. Very funny. I start to get up and the bear says “what’s your hurry”? I am so startled that I just fall back in my chair. “Go back to sleep” he says. Try it again. So I close my eyes, just for a second and now there is two of them. Both of them are really big. Now wait a minute I think. I must be dreaming. I think ok, if this is a dream I will just make them go away. So I try to think them away. I try as hard as I can and nothing. Both bears are still there. It feels like my eyes close for just a second and now there are 6 bears sitting right in front of my chair. All looking at me like they are going to say something. Then all of a sudden they start singing. They were singing in perfect harmony. I couldn’t move, I just sit there and listened. They were that good. And they were singing old gospel songs, my favorite. They just continued to sing one song after another. No instruments, just singing. I tried to wake up, but I couldn’t. I tried to make them go away. Nope, they were here to finish singing I guess. I closed my eyes again and they were still there. At least there wasn’t more of them, it was the same 6. I got up out of my chair and started walking around my house, looking for my wife. A couple of times I turned around and they were right behind me. I mean right behind me in single file. All singing in perfect harmony with complete music playing. Weird huh?? In and out of the bedrooms, through the laundry room, here they were walking behind me singing. As I get back to my chair, they stop singing and just walk off. Out the front door they go in single file, like a march. Off they go, right out the front door all waving at me as they go. Then from around the corner of the bedroom, my wife comes walking into the living room holding a bass guitar. She walks right past me and goes right out the front door behind the bears, shutting the door behind her. Just then there is a knock at the door. I assumed my wife had forgot something and got up and opened the door. Standing at the front door was…
