Edgar William "BILL" Justice, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. He was born May 17, 1929, in Arcadia, Florida. He was a resident of Charlotte County for 14 years, A U.S. Air Force veteran, Bill was a Major, stationed around the globe, and has either visited or resided in over 25 countries. He graduated from DeSoto County High School as well as Florida Southern College. He was Baptist by Faith and served as a Deacon for many years in Miami. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing in Myakka River State Park. Bill retired from the military in 1970, and lived 32 years in Miami before moving to Arcadia and Port Charlotte in 2002. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Carmen McLain Justice of Nocatee, one son, David W. Justice of Port Charlotte; two grandchildren, Dillon McLain Justice and his wife, Brooke Justice of Okeechobee, and Sarah Jayne Carleigh Justice of Greensboro, NC; one brother-in-law Barney Edward McLain of Arcadia, and one sister-in-law. Revelation And The 7 Churches Continued...

Vol. 2 - As I mentioned last month we are living at the end of the church age. The 7 churches all represent a specific purpose through time and their history up to the rapture of the saints. The 7 churches are: A. Ephesus AD 100 at Pentecost, B. Smyrna AD 100-300, C. Pergamos - AD 300-5--, D. Thyatira - AD 500-1500, E. Sardis AD 1500 - 1700, F. Philadelphia AD 1700-1900, G. Laodicea AD 1900 - Rapture. We today are living in the last church age Laodicea. It is in this time period the rapture will occur. Jesus tells us about this church as being luke warm neither cold not hot. We are not referred to as being spiritually alive. This church didn’t even realize that it has drifted away from God. The church is blind to its spiritual condition. The church claims to be saved but are not truthful in their witness and lifestyles. They are going to be severely judged by God. When the church period ends the world will enter great tribulation with the seals trumpets, plagues and trials. The events will be started by God’s angels. The last week of Daniel’s vision will be fulfilled. This great tribulation will last 7 years or 1,260 days as the prophet Daniel tells us. The world will go through severe punishment. Folks you think things are rough now just wait. God will punish the people for rejecting his son Jesus Christ. You ask why is this going to happen, the inheritance of the erath and immortal life given to Adam and Eve was lost in their fall in the garden of Eden. When Adam sinned he lost his inheritance of the earth so it passed into the hands of Satan. God permitted Satan to cause the fall of man and thus bring sin and misery and finally death to the world. The fact that Satan was not in prison yet it is clear he was at liberty to tempt or corrupt the people on this earth. He was in the garden of Eden to tempt Adam and Eve. Folks his power is strong. We are no match for him or his demons yet. This is why we need Jesus Christ in our lives for strength. Folks read the holy scriptures the Bible and pray to Jesus to help us. You can see world conditions how evil they are. Next month will continue volume 3 on Revelations and the 7 churches. Watch the 700 Club on Dish Network channel 180 at 10am each day. Good Ole Boys Remember my mom would leave for work at about 3:35 and my dad would get home about 4:15. We got home from school about 3:45, so myself, 2 brothers and 2 sisters were home alone for about ½ hour. We had about 24 oak trees on this acre of land and one of them was about 20 feet away from the house. Our dad had a load of dirt brought in to fill under the house and it was sitting between the oak tree and the house. Perfect for jumping in, so one day we were doing just that. Climbing the oak tree and jumping into the dirt pile. Well it was my turn. Off I go right into the dirt pile. Only problem was my leg went under my chin instead of in front of it and knocked me out cold. There I was, out cold in a pile of sand. When I came to everybody was looking down at me and shaking me. One of my brothers looked at me and ran for the neighbor’s house to get help. One of my sisters said, boy your chin sure looks funny. What! I couldn’t have that so I ran for the mirror. She was right, my chin had swollen up to the size of a grapefruit. Well, maybe not quite that big but it was a large ugly knot that it was poking out from under my chin. OMG, was it terrible looking. About then the neighbor came up and gave me the look over. You better come home with me she said. Off we went to her house. It was only about 150 yards or so away, but I sure remember praying all the way over there. First thing I prayed for was for God to heal my chin. The next thing I prayed for was that I wouldn’t have to go the emergency room and get something done. I knew we didn’t have the money and my dad would be home soon. It all worked out. My neighbor put ice on it and it started coming down. So my dad decided to give it a little while and see if it would go down. Most of it did, so I didn’t have to go the emergency room. Boy was I glad. But I still have a slight knot under there. At least that’s what I blame this extra chin on that I have now as I get older…….LOL
