What is the Holy Roman Empire?
This powerful institution is about to play a major role in world coming events. The goal of European leaders is to unite and resurrect the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire started in Western Europe, following the coronation of Charlemagne as emperor in the year 800. They wanted to unite Christendom under one rule. Vienna Austria was the heart of the ancient Holy Roman Empire. God sanctions the rise and fall of human empires and nations. Folks this is not Gods world. The bible teaches that this world is under the control and influences of Satan. Satan was a former archangel who rebelled against God. This is why there is so much evil and unhappiness in the world. This is why God gives Bible Prophecy to prove the Holy Roman Empire is best described in the book of Revelations. Apostle John wrote in the 17th chapter of Revelation in 90AD about a great whore that sits on many waters. This whore symbolizes a specific institution. John’s vision tells us he saw a woman sitting on a scarlet colored beast having 7 heads and 10 horns. She was drunk, with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus Christ. This woman represents a religion or church. The woman seeks to persecute and destroy the believers in God. Revelation 17:4 says this woman is clothed in purple and scarlet. She is very wealthy. This woman symbolizes a religion who has political power. Now to the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. The 7 heads are 7 mountains on which the woman sits. A mountain is a symbol of a nation or kingdom. Each head signifies a distinct kingdom or empire. Revelation 17:10 tells us these 7 heads are 7 kings each ruling a kingdom. All of these kings and kingdoms are led by this woman. The 10 horns then represent 10 kings. The Holy Roman Empire is the 7 headed beast ridden by the woman. The 2 Holy Roman Empire and the woman work together to persecute and destroy the true religion of God. As the Holy Roman Empire is resurrected it will cause global devastation that will affect every person on this earth. If God prophesies in the first century that a great false religion would preside over 7 district empires this would be a filled prophecy. We are going to see a full rebirth of Charlemagne’s Holy Roman Empire. The prophecies tell of the last days the empire will have a political leader and a religious leader. The Bible calls this last Holy Roman Emperor the antichrist. His religious leader will be the false prophet. Folks the book of Revelations is very hard to understand. That’s why we need divine help with Gods Holy Spirit. Pray to understand it folks. Thank You.

We had a lot of good times with our Sunday school class. The Glory Land singers sang at several places. One time out at the old GPW, you know the mental hospital, we were singing and when we got through they called us the singing pot holders. That was because of how our wives were dressed. Our wives had went out and bought some material and made their own dresses. Well they did look a little like pot holders. We never got over that name. Anyway, things were going good as the assistant store manager for Jim Thornton. He did his best to get me ready for my own store and then one day it came. It was on a Tuesday night. We were all at the church practicing our singing when the call came in. Remember, there were no cell phones and everybody at the store knew where I was. When the phone rang at church I had no idea it was going to be my supervisor Steve Rhoades. He asked me if I would take the Wauchula Store as their new Store Manager. That there was a big inventory problem there and a lot of steeling was going on. He asked me if I thought I could straighten it out. I told him that I was sure I could and he said good, be there in the morning at 7 am. Wow, yep that is how fast Winn Dixie worked. Just that fast. I was now 26 years old and a Winn Dixie store manager. The youngest they had ever had. A least that's what they told me. Steve gave me the speech about how I was going to make more money than I ever had and not to spend it on new cars and boats. He told me that when I went anywhere and opened my wallet that there would be money. That I would make more than a new attorney. What he didn't tell me was the reason I would always have money in my wallet was because I would never have time to spend it. As a store manager you would work until the work was done. No limits of 40 or 50 hours a week. Yes, if you had a good assistant you could get some Tuesdays off. I still remember that speech. I reminded him of that on several occasions. Well, I took the store. I still remember walking in the first day. Not a good thing. This store was old. No scanners. You still had to key every item into the register. What a lot of work. I didn't know when I walked in that they had already planned to get scanners. That was a monster job. With scanners came a complete remolding. The whole store was to be remolded. Working all the time meant missing church on occasion. That was not working good for me. I became a little less religious. I mean, I just plain out back slid, as granddaddy use to say. I knew where I should be and what I should be doing, but the temptation was just too great and things just happen. I was in Wauchula about three years and I guess I was doing a good job. We sure caught a lot of shoplifters. They all mostly went to jail. This one time a couple of guys walked into the store, it was a late Saturday afternoon. They went back to the potato chips and got a couple of bags and a couple of cans of beer. They did not try to hide anything they just came up to the front and sat on the display by the front door and began to eat them. I was in the office and watched them as they sat up on the display. They just looked up at me like WHAT. Well, I asked what was going on. They said that they had no money and wanted to go to jail. That in Wauchula, the jail had fried chicken on Sunday and they wanted a place to sleep. I just kind of smiled and granted them their wish and called the police. They gave me no trouble and I let them finish their food. They were both real nice guys. Then, while they were waiting on the police, they began begging for a cigarette. They both wanted one. Well I didn't smoke so I couldn't help them. Then they started talking about how they sure would like a cigarette and how they had no money to buy any. I have no idea why I did this, but I went over to the cigarettes and took a pack of Winston's off the shelf. I wrote them down as part of the stuff they had stolen, took a box of matches and threw them to the guys on the display. You would have thought I had given them a Christmas present. Their faces were lit from ear to ear. I am sure they must of really been down on their luck to want to go to jail. Soon the police showed up and off they went. As they went out the door they both were waving and saying thank you sir, thank you sir. Wonder what the policethought? I never saw them again, but the story has been told throughout that store for years. Then one day you guessed it, my supervisor walks in.

Jannie Laura LeVines, age 89 of Miami-Dade County, FL. passed away on February 16, 2017 at the Baptist Hospital in Miami. She was born on August 30, 1927 in Arcadia, FL. to the late Gene and Minnie Mercer LeVines. Jannie was a graduate of DeSoto High School Class of 1945. She then attended Mars Hill College, Mars Hill, NC, Florida State, Tallahassee, FL where she obtained her BA, and finished at GWU, Washington, DC receiving her MA. Jannie then spent over 40 years as a dedicated elementary school teacher. Jannie loved life, she was a generous person to everyone, and very family oriented. Jannie loved being on or near the water, boating or water skiing. She even taught many young students how to ski. She enjoyed ceramics, reading, traveling and her animals. She is survived by one brother Tom (Shirley) LeVines of Arcadia, FL. and Palmyra, VA. Nephews Allen LeVines and Gene (Ellis) LeVines; grand-nephews George LeVines, Jesse LeVines; grandnieces Valen (Daniel) Clore, Kacy LeVines and good friend and neighbor Karen Rugg. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the home of Tom and Shirley LeVines, 322 E. Magnolia St., Arcadia, FL. Graveside services will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00am at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia. Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes have been entrusted with the arrangements.

Timothy was born in Arcadia, FL September 19, 1978 and had been living in Cape Coral, FL for the past five years, moving from Arcadia, FL. He was a graduate of Desoto high School, Class of 1997. He was a journeyman lineman for Mastec Electrical Co. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers “IBEW”. Tim enjoyed salt water fishing, cooking out, playing his guitar, snorkeling and hanging out with friends. Survivors are; his father, Timothy Ralph Moreno Sr., Arcadia, FL, his mother, Genevieve Moreno, Arcadia, FL, fiancé’ Angela Minadeo of Cape Coral, two sons, Anthony Moreno, No. Carolina, Cohen Moreno, Ocala, FL, three sisters Barbara Galaviz , Arcadia, Maria Hughes, Sebring, FL, and Norma (Richard) McManus, Arcadia, FL and his fur babies Penny Lane and Lucy. Visitation will be conducted from 1:00pm until 4:00pm, Saturday, May 6, 2017 from the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home chapel. Roy Dean Sanders 76, passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia, FL. Roy was born on May 1, 1941 in Ramsey Illinois and was a resident of Arcadia for the last 16 years. He worked as a foreman in the Railroad industry for 40 years before retiring in 2001. Roy was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Arcadia. Roy enjoyed building(anything) and helping family and neighbors with whatever needed to be done. Roy loved his family and spending time with them. Roy also enjoyed cooking and eating. He is survived by his wife Catherine Sanders. Three sons Timothy (Melissa) Sanders, Todd (Lisa) Sanders both of Woodward, Oklahoma; Thomas (Kendra) Sanders of Deluth, MN . One daughter Trisha Sanders of Arcadia, FL. Three sisters, Betty Fulk of Decatur, Illinois; Loretta (Ralph) Fortner of Mount Zion, Illinois and Irma (Larry) Gaither of Mount Zion, Illinois. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Ina Sanders.
