From the Editor

Last year, Easter was effectively canceled because of a nationwide lockdown as a prelude to a year living under a pandemic. This year, although we can’t go back to ‘all normal’ just yet, things are looking quite different. Indeed, the outlook and mood has entirely changed, and it is, for me at least, much more optimistic. So, we have packed this issue as an Easter basket full of eggs for you! We have a sexy photoshoot from Addicted USA, which also graces the cover, Mr. Man gives you the best full-frontals of Hollywood, and we recommend that you check out Easter on the Square on Easter Sunday – it won’t be full out Easter Drag Races event, but at least we’ll be able to do a little more than compared to last year. And that’s certainly saying something! That and so much more in this issue of Peach. Happy EASTER!

Easter on the

SQUARE

Although it won’t be a full-fledged Easter event, the establishments on Ansley Square are putting a lot of effort into creating a safe, outdoor space for patrons to enjoy the holiday with a drink and a show. Yes, we are moving rapidly in the right direction when it comes to fighting the pandemic, but no, it won’t be timely enough for an all-out Easter Drag Races event on Ansley Square. But the bars on the square, with Midtown Moon leading the way, are working on setting up fun, outdoor spaces where you can enjoy a show and a drink while adhering to health authority guidelines. Midtown Moon will set up a stage, so you can enjoy a special outdoor Easter-themed drag show with showtimes throughout all of this special edition Sunday Funday. Either way, you will get a chance to fill some eggs in your basket on Easter Sunday! Easter on the Square will mainly be outside with access to all the bars on the square, so don’t forget to mask, socially distance, and respect other’s space so the day can be enjoyable and fun for establishments and patrons alike.

Happy Easter! WHAT Easter On the Square WHEN Sunday, April 4, 12 - 10 pm WHERE Ansley Square (Midtown Moon) 8 | follow us @ peachatlmag

Getting Back In Person and On Stage

By Mikkel Hyldebrandt As with so many other art institutions, The Center for Puppetry Arts was deeply impacted by the onset of the global pandemic a year ago. They managed to pivot to digital content fairly quickly but not without having to restructure the organization entirely, including letting staff go. Beth Schiavo is the Executive Director for the Center for Puppetry Arts, and she worked hard with the rest of the leadership team to get the center back to its full programming – both in-person and digitally. Like countless other businesses and organizations, you have been deeply impacted but the global pandemic. How did you manage all this? The Center was quick to react to the challenge of closing our theaters by providing free educational and entertainment content to families over Facebook Live. Our leadership team met daily to develop innovative programming that could be offered digitally. We have been quite proud of our reach during the pandemic, with over 200,000 views in 87 countries in less than two months. Sadly, like most performing arts organizations, we were unable to maintain full employment of our part-time and some full-time staff. We have thankfully been able to start bringing people back into the Center for special performances and museum activities. We employ Optimistic Resilience at the Center. We are not naively optimistic, but rather we have become comfortable with change in a way none of us have had to do in the past. Resilience is all about taking some risks knowing that not all decisions will be successful, and quickly move on to those that are successful. Do you think any of the initiatives adapted during the pandemic will prevail in future lineups? Absolutely. We learned that there is a true need for high-quality, interactive, and online content which works well with our existing Digital Learning model. Now, we have an opportunity to curate programming for a broader public audience that is fun and interactive while also being educational. This could take the form of our mainstage theatrical performances, museum tours, educational and VIP panels, in addition to our Digital Learning portfolio. What are your hopes and expectations for the upcoming spring and summer season for the center? First and foremost, we hope for a healthy community, and

our Center activities will continue to be diligent with respect to our visitor and employee safety. We have planned both digital and in-person programming this spring and summer and will be launching a special museum exhibit with related programming this summer. I am incredibly proud to be talking with other cultural leaders on a weekly basis as we navigate through the balance of financial sustainability and cautious engagement with the community. Can you share some upcoming season highlights with us? While we will continue to build and expand our digital programming, we’re very excited to be back in person on stage and in our workshops. We will continue to limit numbers and require safety measures, but we’re looking forward to presenting more performances and workshops as well as new Museum programming, including special exhibits and events. We have some new projects in development that we will be sharing in the coming weeks, but for now, we’re thrilled to have all of our programming safely open and available to the public. How can we support the Center for Puppetry Arts until it is fully open again? With a library of archival performances as well as live, interactive digital offerings, there are a number of performance-related choices. Visit the museum when we open our special exhibits and events planned for the year. The Center has been a unique Atlanta gem for over 41 years, and we welcome more than 160,000 visitors a year, approximately 70,000 of those children traveling from schools on field trips. With the temporary pause on field trips, we need passionate supporters of the arts and healthy children’s programming to consider philanthropic support to bridge the gap of lost revenue. Our goal is to ensure that future generations of children and adults can experience the magic that is puppetry in Atlanta. Learn more about the Center for Puppetry Arts at puppet.org.

EQUALITY ACT VOTE PROVES MISINFORMATION IS THE CURRENCY OF TODAY’S POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT By Orlando Gonzales, Executive Director of Safeguarding American Values for Everyone (SAVE)

The passing of the Equality Act yesterday was bittersweet for us. While we celebrate that the bill passed and it will now advance to the Senate, we are disappointed that a handful of our South Florida members of Congress collectively voted against the bill to protect LGBTQ people from discrimination. We thank Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, Congressman Ted Deutch, and Congressman Alcee Hastings for voting in favor of the Equality Act and for continuing to be champions for the community. In a stinging surprise, Congressman Mario Diaz Balart flipped his vote by voting against the Equality Act when in 2019 he voted in favor. It is important to note that the language in the bill was the same this year as it was then. Moreover, former Miami Dade County Mayor, Congressman Carlos Gimenez who previously championed LGBTQ protections at the local level also voted against the bill along with Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar. Diaz Balart and Gimenez have effectively ransacked their pro-LGBT record. Unfortunately, the dissemination of 16 | follow us @ peachatlmag

misinformation is the currency of today’s political environment. In our meetings with elected officials and in listening to the debate on the house floor, it was clear that opponents to the bill were concocting a false narrative about the Equality Act’s impact on the Freedom of Religion and woefully overstating its effect on existing constitutional protections. It is critically important that we educate and share with everyone how the Equality Act embraces freedom of religion. Firstly, the freedom of religion is important to all of us. It is one of our nation’s most sacred and fundamental values. That is why it is already fully protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution, and the Equality Act does nothing to lessen those protections. LGBTQ leaders, activists, and citizens have no desire to undermine existing protections for people of faith under the Constitution or existing laws. Moreover, The Equality Act does not require clergy to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies. No church or clergyperson can ever be compelled to perform a marriage www.peachatl.com

ceremony, and that includes marrying samesex couples. Churches and clergy should be free to practice and preach as they see fit, and the Equality Act does not change that. The language of the Equality Act maintains existing religious exemptions currently afforded under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, providing reasonable exemptions for religiously affiliated organizations and educational institutions that are not open to the public. These exemptions strike precisely the same balance between religious freedom and equal treatment of all people that currently exists under our federal nondiscrimination laws. We find that many concerns related to religious exemptions are resolved by the existence of the co-religionist exemption and ministerial exception, and the Equality Act leaves both intact. The ministerial exception allows religious organizations total autonomy regarding whom they hire to teach and spread their religion. This exception applies to employees of religious organizations who perform job functions such as teaching scripture, leading prayers, or religious songs, or otherwise sharing religious doctrine. Houses of worship and religiously affiliated organizations are permitted to make hiring and firing decisions for these positions that align with their church doctrine and are not required to comply with local, state, or federal nondiscrimination laws for those jobs. For example, a Catholic Church cannot be held liable for refusing to hire female priests. Additionally, a religious school may be able to fire or refuse to hire an LGBTQ teacher if their job description includes teaching the faith. The Supreme Court recently ruled in the Our Lady of Guadalupe case that two religious schools were exempt from discrimination claims (one for age and the other for disability discrimination) because of the ministerial exception, so that exception has been applied quite broadly. The coreligionist exemption further allows religious organizations to prefer or only hire or rent to

those who are members of their religion. Regarding the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), there is a misconception about the impact of the Equality Act on the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This stems from extreme messaging to promote misinformation. The Equality Act does not repeal or undermine federal RFRA. Instead, it clarifies how RFRA originally was intended by Congress to be applied. The Equality Act restores original Congressional intent to ensure that RFRA can continue to be used as a shield to protect people of all faiths against government overreach, and not as a sword to discriminate against people of minority faiths and others. In fact, courts have generally ruled that RFRA cannot excuse discrimination against LGBTQ people and others and the Equality Act simply confirms this. Furthermore, the Equality Act expands the rights of people of faith by expanding the places of public accommodation where religious discrimination is prohibited. Fundamentally, protecting people from discrimination is about the Golden Rule - treating others as we want to be treated. That is why many people of faith support these protections; not despite their religious beliefs, but because of them. LGBTQ people are our friends, neighbors, family members, and coworkers. They work hard, support their families, and pay taxes. The Equality Act would ensure that LGBTQ people have the same rights and protections as everyone else - no more, no less.

Orlando Gonzales, MPA, is the Executive Director of Safeguarding American Values for Everyone (SAVE/ SAVE Dade) that works to promote, protect and defend equality for people in South Florida who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

Hollywood’s Growers and Showers Provided by Mr. Man, edited by Mikkel Hyldebrandt Do you ever wonder which celebrities have the biggest and smallest penises in Hollywood? Well, today, you’re in luck because our favorite nude celebrity website, Mr. Man, is celebrating the delish diversity of dongage with the biggest celebrity growers and showers. Only A-listers actors made the cut (or uncut!), and the results have been verified by their dedicated team of guy-ientists. Those are guy scientists for you non-academics. Check out the list below of sexy celebrities who went fullfrontal and bared it ALL for your viewing pleasure. And if that isn’t enough, you can go online at MrMan.com to see even more naked celebs who let it all hang out in sexy and totally NSFW clips. #1 Ben Affleck It’s no secret that Ben Affleck is one of the sexiest men in the biz we call show. But did you know that the real-life DILF has the biggest penis in Hollywood? For a look at what Ben is packing, check out his massive member in Gone Girl. Ben there, hung that!

#4 Liam Neeson We’re Taken… by Liam Neeson’s cock! Now we know where the horse-hung Irish actor gets his swagger from. Liam Neeson’s full-frontal scene goes down in Under Suspicion, when he makes a mad dash across a lawn with his thigh-slapper on full display. Just… wow.

#2 Michael Fassbender Michael Fassbender’s legendary cock has received ample time in front of the camera thanks to his brazen full-frontal performances. Michael really put other actors to shame in, well, Shame, when he flaunted his huge swinging penis. Raise your hand if you want more Fassbender dick!

#5 Ewan McGregor Ewan McGregor is one of the nudest actors in Hollywood, with over a half dozen frontal performances under his rarely-there belt. And with his impressive package in Young Adam, this sexpot is an example of quality and quantity! When it comes to Ewan, we all win.

#3 Yahya Abdul-Mateen II The talented and sexy actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II em-bawdy-ies Watchmen’s Dr. Manhattan like no other man can. He lends his perfect, thick penis to the role of the famously naked Dr. Manhattan in multiple mouthwatering scenes. Do we like seeing him naked? Um, Ya...hya.

#6 Omar Epps Omar God! Omar Epps is definitely an actor who we want to see more nudity from. But at least he blessed us with a great frontal nude scene in Conviction. We’re convinced that he’s one of the most well-endowed actors in Hollywood!

#7

Viggo Mortensen Viggo Mortensen has delivered decades of dudity, first showing off his thick penis in 1991’s The Indian Runner, and most recently in 2016’s Captain Fantastic. That cock? Fantastic!

#8 Antonio Banderas

Many fans might not know that Zorro himself is packing an impressive sword. Antonio was just a twink when he showed off his genuinely thick sausage in 1982’s False Eyelash! And don’t get us started on that sexy au naturel bush. Just don’t okay.

#9 Colin Farrell

A man with a dashingly handsome face, dreamy eyes, perfectly toned bod, and an extra-long dong might seem too good to be true. But that’s exactly what you get with Colin Farrell! Porn fans can check out his sizable soapy cock in Triage.

#10 Justin Theroux

My man’s lingerie? Grey sweatpants. Justin Theroux made headlines for his bobbing bulge in The Leftovers, but to see what he’s actually packing, check out Justin’s impressive frontal shot in Eight Inches Under. We mean, Six Feet Under!

That guy with the Birkenstocks and puka shells necklace at the coffee shop will tune in to your grooviness, and maybe put some flowers in your hair.

ARIES (MAR. 21 - APR. 19)

SCORPIO (OCT. 23 - NOV. 21)

You’ve tried stealth, cunning and the telling of tall tales to impress that guy, and not surprisingly, none of those tactics worked. How about showing him a little charm today? Letting him see the real you, and not the person you think he might want you to be, could have you going the distance.

Your ever-changing moods have you both angel and devil today, and even you can’t tell where one ends, and the other begins. This is not the type of versatility you want to be known for, but at least you know why people cower under their desks when you enter a room. Be one or the other today, but not both. This way people will know exactly who they’re dealing with.

TAURUS (APR. 20 - MAY 20)

SAGITTARIUS (NOV. 22 - DEC. 21)

You sound like Darth Vader as you climb stairs, and you take the elevator to your office on the first floor. It could be time to start thinking about your health. Working out consistently is a must, as is proper diet. Hire a personal trainer if you feel you need motivation. In the long run, it’ll be cheaper than the medical bills after the inevitable heart attack.

Ideas will come easily today as communication flows free and easy between you and your coworkers. It will seem like you’re all tuned into the same big picture today, and a lot will be accomplished. They will look to you to be the leader, and you will hand out responsibilities in a fair and unbiased manner.

GEMINI (MAY 21 - JUN. 20)

CAPRICORN (DEC. 22 - JAN. 19)

You will find yourself focused on your partner today, as well you should. Your many long, rich years together total nearly 150 when calculated in gay years. The romance is still hot and heavy, and while you may be a little slow in getting started, you still know how to push each other’s buttons. Tell him how you feel today, through words, and tried-and-true actions.

Ru Paul has a better chance of delivering the keynote address at the Republican convention than you do of getting a pay raise today. Disappointing, yes, but your conduct during post-work drinks last week sort of sealed that deal. The best you can do is to put your nose to the grindstone. Working harder will prove your worthiness and salvage your damaged reputation.

CANCER (JUN. 21 - JUL. 22)

AQUARIUS (JAN. 20 - FEB. 18)

Your partner may not share your aesthetic sensibilities, which makes feathering the nest a challenge. You want modern contemporary with a dash of Swedish chic, while he’s firmly rooted in neon beer signs and velvet Elvis. Try to reach a balance today that doesn’t entail bribes, temper tantrums or locking him in the garage.

A man from a different culture has entered your life, and you’re smitten. He’s fun, charming and an impeccable dresser. At first you thought the accent was cute, but it’s gotten frustrating deciphering his every sentence. Don’t give up, because this relationship holds a lot of promise. While you can barely understand what he’s saying, there are inventive ways of communicating without saying a word.

LEO (JUL. 23 - AUG. 22)

PISCES (FEB. 19 - MAR. 20)

Have you ever wondered why everyone agrees with everything you say? Is it because you’re always right, or because it’s the only way they know to shut you up? Let others have a say today. A free flow of communication let’s everyone participate in the conversation, and you may discover that your friends are just as witty and intelligent as you.

Your relationship sometimes resembles an abstract painting, a mad jumble of shapes, colors and squiggles that somehow makes sense. People on the outside will gaze upon your painting, and scratch their heads while muttering ‘What the hell is that?’ But you and your partner will just laugh and splash more paint on the canvas.

Trouble in the love department? With sex? Or just people in general? Send us your queries, questions, and problems, and you’ll get answers served straight up and with a little ice. I’ve been with my boyfriend a little over a year now, and for some reason, the sex is starting to seem boring to me! It’s never happened to me before, I usually have a very high sex drive, and I have never experienced this kind of loss of interest before. My boyfriend has extreme difficulty reaching orgasm, and in the time we’ve been together, he has only gotten off less than a handful of times. He assures me that I am doing nothing wrong and has explained that apparently, this has been a recurring problem for him in the past. The problem is that he gets really frustrated, and when we have sex, we seem to go way longer beyond any of us having fun or even enjoying it. It’s tiring and frustrating, and it is becoming almost a chore. How do we get back on track and under an hour of having sex? Sincerely Frustrated F**k Dear Frustrated F**k If you engage in these long sex sessions for his sake, it is also reasonable that he indulges in shorter ones for your sake. Remember, a climax does not determine if the sex was good or not! Maybe a shorter session will also help take the pressure off him to reach climax. Other things that can help him get his mind off the ultimate climax situation is reminding him that you enjoy the connection and intimacy with him when you are having sex, not the climax. That way, you signal that you want the sex but don’t necessarily need him to come for you, but that you’d be more than happy to help him get there.

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years now, and up until recently, we were very happy. During this pandemic, we have quarantined together, and my boyfriend has begun to express a lot of rage, and it manifests itself in tantrums over seemingly random things. He will be putting laundry away, and all of a sudden, he is throwing clothes around or slamming doors. Or he drops something, and he gets overly upset. The aggression is never directly aimed at me, but he has spoken harshly to me when I tried to calm him down. I’m surprised at this side of him, and I am fearful that it will be the end of things for us if this aggression continues. What should I do? Sincerely Corona Cross Dear Corona Cross If he, at any point, directs his aggression towards you, so you feel threatened, you need to get out immediately – no exceptions! However, it does seem like this is connected to the state of the world we live in right now. Usually, when people feel this kind of anger, it is not because the laundry won’t fold properly, but because there is another underlying reason that could very well be ascribed to our continuing global health crisis. You’ve already established that trying to talk to him when he is upset does not work, so what you need to do is have a conversation when he is in a calm state. Let him know that you have observed this new behavior in him and that you’d like to know the underlying reason for this level of aggression and frustration. Tell him that you will be supportive of him and that any aggression directed towards you is an absolute no-go. There are so many dynamics in a relationship, so take the time to mutually explore if there has been something in the relationship that you have neglected or are unaware of. At the same time, you need to be lenient with yourselves because we live in unprecedented times. Hopefully, getting it out in the open will explain the outbursts and better prepare you for the future. Finally, there are many options for online therapy if he feels the need to talk to someone other than you about this. It might help you both break the code as to what is going on with him. Luckily, we are moving in the right direction, and hopefully, this summer will look entirely different than a year ago.
