The all new and exciting one-hour Black LGBTQIA late-night talk show, The House has arrived on Fox Television Network’s new streaming platform Fox Soul. The series premiered Friday October 8, 2021 at 9pm EST / 6pm PST, and is available for free on Foxsoul.tv, Roku and other platforms.

Featuring a panel of queer and transgender guests and hosts, The House provides a supportive comfortable platform for serious discussions surrounding issues facing people of color, LGBTQIA+, cancel culture, and of course, sex. The all-queer host panel known as “The Fam” includes community psychologist and life coach, Antonio LeMons, clinical psychologist and trauma specialist, Cheryl Rich, international beauty expert and hairstylist, Chris Curse and producer- creator and online personality, Aaron Johnson Levy.

The four are joined by resident heterosexual culinary expert Chef Sean Freelon, to serve up a 3-course meal for each dinner with our guests.

Upper-Lip Service: 26 of Pop Culture’s Most Memorable Mustaches of the Past and Present

by Mikey Rox Mustache culture has lost its historical edge over the past few years as the peak-and-valley trend has taken on a new identity as a marketing gimmick. Thanks, hipsters! What was once a symbol of masculinity and maturity – if you could grow in your upper lip like you made puberty your bitch – is today plastered in cartoonish design across coffee mugs, shower curtains, and “ironic” T-shirts whose makers don’t know the meaning of the word. You can even make mustache ice cubes using pricey silicone trays – and that just makes us side-eye. Yet the real offense here is that nowadays every 20-something vegan pennyfarthing rider who hand dips his own beeswax votives and reads the newspaper on a stick sports the style – without giving an iota of props to those who blazed the bushy trail before them.

So we’ll do it instead. Behold, 26 of pop culture’s most memorable Dalís, Banditos, Mistletoes and more to remind you of what it was like to once be a man – just in time for Movember.

26. Yosemite Sam The only proper ginge on this list (even if he is animated), Bugs Bunny’s gun-slingin’ archenemy Yosemite Sam made his first official debut – walrus ’stache and fiery temper to boot – in the Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon short “Hare Trigger” in May 1945.

But before you check to see if your tux still fits, you also need to check your vaccination status because the premier Holiday event of the season is going to be a vaxx-only affair to keep everyone safe. Peach caught up with Board President Shawn Martin to talk about the decision and its enforcement to keep everyone safe.

Dave Chappelle is the new Donald Trump. Will the masses cheer him on under the veil of free speech and antipolitical correctness, or will we resist? by Scott King

I stopped being a fan of Chappelle after his previous Netflix-funded rants about “the Alphabet people.” It wasn’t just Chappelle. I was tired of the Trumpera hack motif of politicians and public figures bullying a marginalized group of people and then painting themselves as victims of the criticism – or “canceling” efforts – of these groups.

Hate-mongering.

Dog-whistling.

Being brittle and defensive.

Bragging about your physical prowess that lends itself towards violence and physical confrontation.

Basically, in Chappelle’s trans and LGBTQ+ communities, and worldview, transgender people are to declare the conversation closed. illegitimate and should not exist.

It’s all one-sided. It’s all abusive.

And as a bonus, Chappelle reveals In his act, Chappelle jokes – and

brags – about beating up a woman, a lesbian, whom he thought was a man. He declares himself transphobic over and over again, compares transgenderism to blackface, and acts as though black and trans folk are from two mutually exclusive communities.

What Chappelle doesn’t realize – or admit – is that, although yes, Black people in America are still victimized way more than a lot of privileged cis queer white people, trans people of color are one of the most statistically doomed sections of the U.S. population. He doesn’t know or realize or admit or care that hate speech of the type he spews on Netflix is just the type that the abusers of trans people, and trans people of color in particular, are just waiting to hear to affirm their worldview, and, unfortunately, their violent actions.

Sadly, outside of some yet undiscovered egregious personal misbehavior, it looks as though Dave Chappelle is uncancellable. What is not uncancellable, however, are our Netflix subscriptions. It’s the marketplace of ideas. The power of the purse.

And it’s a relatively effective way to make change and show the presence of the LGBTQ+ community and, of equal importance here, our allies.

Yes, well-intentioned allies – this is your chance to shine. Here you can have an effect on the conversations surrounding LGBTQ+ issues. Speak your mind, and loudly cancel your Netflix. We thank you in advance.

Don’t fool yourself, folks. Netflix isn’t standing by Chappelle because they are First Amendment scholars. Netflix is making millions and millions of dollars from Chappelle’s belligerent hate speech, and they have made a shrewd calculation that standing by him will be better for their bottom line than caving to the internal and external pressure.

So let’s prove their cynical math wrong. Dave Chappelle is a test case. If we don’t stand firm in our beliefs and apply pressure, there will be others right behind him.

Please note that this application of pressure - public, private, spiritual and existential - is not a violation of

freedom of speech. Nor is it fascism.

If Jim Gaffigan put out a Netflix special in which he aired all his grievances with the Black community and declared himself “a racist” 10 times in 90 minutes, and then, as a result, he was publicly criticized and canceled, would you consider this fascism?

Or would you consider it justice?

There is an acute difference between freedom of speech as protected by the First Amendment and what we as a society continually decide is acceptable in mainstream discourse. David Duke is entitled to his opinions – and his speech. As is Marjorie Taylor Greene; as was Anita Bryant. The difference is that now Netflix has, 50 years after the latter’s heyday, granted the philosophy of Anita Bryant a cozy seat on the great big sofa of America’s living room. Dave Chappelle has brought misinformation about and vitriol towards the LGBTQ+ community back into our mainstream consciousness. It’s always been out there, but now it has the power of mainstream celebrity and corporate approval behind it, thanks entirely to the buffoonery of Netflix.

Is this the world you want to live in?

If so, go on giving lip service to free speech and rolling your eyes at cancel culture. If not, cancel your Netflix subscription today.

FUNNY! I am navigating the same thing here. So here are the steps I took to try and pinpoint exactly what I could do to change these bad vices.

1. Pinpoint the negative behavior and find the associative behavior that is aligning with it to make you engage in said behavior. Change the cause and you'll change the behavior.

2.

26 days of anything "consistent" makes a habit, so if you can commit to something for 26 days, then you can form a new HEALTHY habit to kick the bucket on your other bad ones. Find what you WANT to do, and commit to it the same way you commit to Starbucks every morning or whatever it is that you do EVERY DAY! 3.

Plan for success. If you feel like you are going to fail, then you will. But, if you can envision yourself doing well then you will! If you can dream it, you can do it.

There are a lot of rumors that are floating around right now because of something you said recently that was taken incorrectly by a friend. But, lets take a look at this and see if they really are your friend to begin with.

When and how did you meet? Was it in a good space with positive energy?

If not, then maybe they never had good intentions to begin with.

Youhave some explaining to do! Maybe not explaining, but more so some damage control to help you repair some of the lost time that you have wasted. There are all sorts of people out there who want to see you fail, Gemini... so put their bitch asses in check and rock your S#!+ You need to stay clear of the office gossip happening this week, Cancer.

Just because you have a curiosity about what is going on does not mean that you have to get involved. Don't try to get invovled in something that has absolutely nothing to do with you. You cannot fix everything and you certainly cannot silence the loud mouths who try and take over. Breathe and let the universe do the work for you.
