The latest Spring drop from Atlanta-based, gay-owned brand YEAHBUZZY feels fun and familiar. The collection sports their staple t-shirts and headwear in fresh new designs as well as some reworks of previous designs. What doesn’t feel quite familiar is the name. Due to a trademark dispute the brand, formerly known as ABETTERBUZZ, had to do a complete rebranding, and the popular clothing brand’s creator and owner, Buzz Busbee, quickly came up with YEAHBUZZY – a name that nods to its predecessor while keeping in tune with the fun-filled and prideful vibe with the brand’s roots. After all, it’s more than a brand, it’s a state of mind. The new Spring drop sparks a colorful vibe with a floral and plant theme that has been applied to the popular bear graphic, an allnew ‘Plant Daddy’ tee, and new, bolder colors for the ‘Space Bear’ tee and tank. Just like the tees, the headwear has also been dipped in bold color and some even in Aztec-inspired prints. And let’s not forget the black Woof Woof t-shirt; basically, a catcall at the bar waiting to happen. All styles are available at yeahbuzzy.com.
YEAHBUZZY In Person YEAHBUZZY is stoked to get back to in-person markets, festivals, and events. In April, you can catch YEAHBUZZY here: April 9 – Atlanta Dairies, 12-6 pm April 16 – Joyride, Boggs Social, 12-5 pm April 23/24 – Inman Park Festival

For The Kid Back Brighter Than Ever By Mikkel Hyldebrandt
With a new executive board and the addition of seven new board members, the For The Kid In All Of Us board of directors is ready to take on a new year of fundraising. The goal, to help children in need with toys and school supplies, remains the same, but ambitions for this year are different with a revitalized and highly motivated board. Peach caught up with Board President, Stacy Brown, to talk about what to expect from FTK in 2022. First, tell us a little about how you got involved with For The Kid? My partner, Kent Finley, served as Treasurer for FTK for many years, and he now serves as an advisory member of the board. We both attended Toy Party together for the first time over ten years ago and fell in love with the board’s mission of helping others during the holiday season. Ever since we have volunteered and helped in any way that we can to brighten the lives of others in our community and beyond. Coming out of the worst of the pandemic last year helped the organization return to in-person fundraising at the Toy Party. Can you tell us a little bit about what FTK did last year to raise money? The past two years for FTK have been incredible. Not only because of our donors and patrons but the commitment our board gave to make FTK more successful than ever! Returning in 2021 to Biltmore Ballrooms for an in-person celebration was incredible! Our Silent Auction and our board members raising funds online via Facebook was outstanding. You just welcomed new members to the allvolunteer board. Can you tell us a little bit about who they are and what they will do for FTK? We filled seven open board seats this year with marketing, event planning, and fundraising backgrounds. Our board members are excited and ready to make 2022 the most successful year ever for FTK. What’s the next major event by For the Kid? Backpack in the Park is July 23, 2022, at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park. However, stay tuned for other
events throughout the season with local businesses in the community. And look for us in the PRIDE Parade in October! What other kinds of fundraising has the organization ventured into? Of course, Facebook fundraising was a success, and our silent auction, but I have to recognize our board member Devin Barnard for partnering with Ruby Redd at Midtown Moon to make last year a huge success. We want to continue that relationship for as long as possible. We have learned that we can also host smaller ‘satellite’ events that not only raise money for our cause but connect us even closer to the community. You have a very engaged board of directors this year. What are some of your major goals for this year? Our main goal is to continue to build relationships within the community. Our board wants to expand our volunteering among our beneficiary and volunteer groups, who give a lot of time to us at our events. Our goal is to thank them by offering our services at their events to help make them successful. Anything else you’d like to add? Check us out at forthekid.org. Volunteer. Donate. Help brighten someone’s day! Thank you to the community and our supporters, and thank you to the current and past board members for all you do to keep FTK going strong.

ARIES: Spring is in the air, and that means it’s time for a rebirth! Set your intentions on renewing your sense of security this Spring - personal and financial. Use that money to assist towards a goal, or set it aside for a future endeavor. You’ll thank yourself.
LIBRA: Give yourself the opportunity for self intimacy; however that may manifest itself for you. Try not to be such a perfectionist and let the world be. You cannot control every aspect of your life and if you decide to let go a bit, what could you learn?
TAURUS: You seem to be on everyone’s mind lately. You’re feeling wanted, needed and in demand. Make sure that as much as other people want to be around you, make sure that you realize the true reasons they might need you for your strength and guidance in THEIR tough times.
SCORPIO: Try a new restaurant, invest in a different type of love interest... HELL, try something new in the bedroom. You’re going to feel the need to be active this week, so maybe make this a habit for yourself!
GEMINI: LET THEM GO! In this time of rebirth, allow yourself to start fresh and let go of those troubling issues and people from your past. Remember those who are nearest and dearest to you and begin to reconnect with those individuals.
SAGITTARIUS:Be prepared for others to do the same this week. People will begin to make small connections here and there. Make sure to listen and relate if you can because this might be a way of finding new love this season. .
CANCER: You may be embarking on a new adventure on your own and might find romance in a strange place... like maybe an old friend? You’ll begin to see the qualities you want in a partner. But be careful, don’t progress too fast, or else that friendship could fizzle.
CAPRICORN: Make sure that this spring you begin to realize the worthiness and courage you have within yourself. Others will begin to see this and you might even have a few admirers because of it. Hold that head high and show other what great strength you have.
LEO: Quality, not quantity. As you have always known, you’re a diligent and hard worker. Make sure that this week as you set your eyes on a goal for your professional career, that you begin to communicate and collaborate with coworkers. Cultivate meaningful relationships with your coworkers and work together.
AQUARIUS: With COVID you might not have been home physically to see your family, but you feel a longing for connection like you have with them. Maybe begin to plan a trip to see them, connect with friends and have a friend’s dinner. Compassion and connection are your two big words for inspiration.
VIRGO: This might be the time for you to experiment Virgo. You’ve kept a safe distance from those around you during the pandemic, a so now bring them close. As always, you’ll initially have walls up but this might be your time to find love in uncanny places.
PISCES: Communication is key! You have to communicate in order for people to know what’s on your mind Pisces! Speak up for yourself and voice your feelings so others can better understand you. This will help you in your work and love life as people begin to really see the inner workings of that very detailed mind.

Dear Peach, I see people around me donning all this really awesome clothing but I honestly can’t afford it myself. I have been struggling with money for some time and I don't know how I can keep up with their fashion sense to make myself blend in when we go out. Any advice on how make my self expression stand out more?
Okay, so lets talk about self expression shall we? There is nothing out there telling someone that they have to spend a crap load of money in order to feel as thought they fit in with someone else or their group. If your friends like you for you, then what you wear should be no issue to them. However, if they decide it to be an issue then I would reassess who your friends are. You can shop at Goodwill and they should accept you the same as if you shopped at Gucci. Money may make the world go ‘round unfortunately, but it should not dictate how you treat people. Express who you are to the best of your ability and let them follow suit how they see fit. If it’s with an expensive coat or jacket, leave them be… you, do you.
