IN CELEBRATION OF GEORGE MICHAEL’S ICONIC ALBUM OLDER “OLDER IS MY GREATEST MOMENT” – GEORGE MICHAEL Written, arranged and produced by George Michael, Older saw George exploring new music, as he reflected on life, loss and pain with, ultimately, the redemptive power of love triumphing over everything. Originally released in the UK on May 13, 1996 through Virgin Records, Older, George Michael's iconic album, reached the pinnacle of chart success, where it remained for three consecutive weeks, spending 35 weeks in the top 10 overall. The album produced six singles, two of which - "Fastlove" and the haunting "Jesus To A Child" - reached No.1, with the other four peaking in the top three. The album was a huge global commercial success, going 6x platinum in the UK, as well as verified platinum in another 22 countries – an achievement which is unparalleled to this day. Older was George’s third album as a solo artist and would see him experimenting with new musical styles and expanding his artistic horizons. Hailed by critics as a triumph, it told the story of an extraordinary period in the life of the man who wrote, recorded and produced it, as he journeyed through one of the most turbulent periods of his professional and personal life. George channeled all his painful life experiences into one of the most personal, heart-felt albums he had ever written. Older will be released on July 8, 2022 Also available: 2LP / CD / Digital

This beautiful new box-set is a treasure for fans and includes Older, newly mastered from original tapes and pressed on 180gsm vinyl across 2LPs for superior audio quality with expanded artwork. The set also includes Upper for the first time ever on vinyl, as well as Older and Upper on CD. Presented in a rigid double slipcase, this package contains 5 CDs and 3 LPs. Also included is a 12” x 12” 48-page book, The Story of Older, featuring a brand-new essay by Dan Davies recounting the stories behind the album with contributions from key people who helped make the record, plus rare and previously unseen photos. The set also includes 3 12” x 12” art prints of George.

THE BEAR NECESSITIES by Scott King Lions and tigers and bears, but why Once upon a time, I was a twink. My skinny jeans weren’t called skinny jeans. They were just called jeans. I shaved my face once every 36 hours, and I shaved my chest once a month before going out to the cluuuub. I was young. I was dumb. I was clean-cut on the surface, at least. I had a friend at work, waiting tables, who was a bear. A cub, to be exact. He and his partner were really into the bear culture. They told me all about it. They said everyone was welcome. I said hmmmm. So I googled it. There were bears in there and otters, cubs, wolves, foxes, and a whole petting zoo’s worth of intrigue. I dug deeper. What does it all mean? Yes, bears look like this, cubs look this, and otters this, but is there something more? Not that I could figure. But that’s okay. Labels don’t mean anything. They just give things a shape. A brand. That’s okay. That could be useful. But form precedes meaning or substance or label. I see a guy as hot. Then I see the color of his skin and his eyes and his lips and his teeth and his hair and his hairs’ strategic or not so strategic placement on his body.

should used to celebrate, not to exclude. It’s the paradox of pride. What have you are you proud of and whom are you excluding from your group? Hopefully no one. I know I know I also want to bake a cake made of rainbows and hugs and smiles and serve everyone in the world of a slice. But seriously. Be proud of who you are but not to the exclusion of people who are different from you. That’s the whole impact of bear culture, right? Labels should expand categories of identity, not reduce them. Right before I moved to Atlanta in 2010, I grew out my beard. Everyone I knew was like damn gurl you look amazing. I was like I know. I wasn’t trying to fit a look or label or brand. It was just right. The red brought out the blue in my eyes. Then I move to Atlanta. I would go out to the club and people would come up and hug me and say I love you. I was like I love you too. Nice to meet you. They all thought I was Tim Kruger. Everything happens for a gay reason. The next Halloween I tried to dress up as Tim Krueger. It didn’t work. People were like why are you naked, ginger? We’re all naked. Everything we put on - weather it be clothes, attitudes, labels or beards - is drag. And that drag, eventually, in its many facets, becomes the identity, an identifying marker.

I see the whole package before I decide whether or not I want to unwrap it.

But that drag change. Or it can stay the same. Life is very long, and there are many options in the great shopping mall of identity and brand.

Lifehack. If you want to get with me, do not scream GINGER at me from across the bar. That will get you nothing but a knuckle sandwich. Metaphorically of course. We now live in a post Will Smith world.

And so, the moral of the story is, be yourself, self-actualize, celebrate yourself even, but don’t get swallowed up in the matrix of labels and identity. Always be fluid. Always be ready. And always always be underdressed.

Speaking of packages, bear culture

Happy bear pride. To EVERYONE.

GOGO BEARS, OH MY!

By: Christopher Gonzalez LaCorte

I grew up a dancer. I remember stepping into many dance classes when I was younger and teachers would tell me that I would never be a professional dancer because of my size. Despite what I was told, I managed to dance for numerous dance companies and even started my own at the age of 17 and kept it running for ten years before teaching college and then moving to Atlanta. All the while, I remember going to the bars with friends and this new found family that essentially took me in for an adventure that will last a lifetime: finding myself. I merged worlds by dancing to the music that echoed through the speakers of the Parliament House in Orlando and various bars around the country. I remember going out one night with my company members and two of them mentioned that they had gogo danced in college while studying in their respective dance departments. While there is a stigma associated with gogo dancing and assumptions that it is all sexual, I came to find out that was not the case. There are elements of technique that come into play while working on a box like situational and body awareness. There were improvisational techniques that I had learned in class that applied: listen to the music and allow that to move through your body, pay attention to tempo, cadence, staccato versus smooth music, transitional elements. Most importantly, I loved the connection that dance brought people.

When you’re onstage in a theatre the lights cast such a blinding light that it makes it almost impossible to see anyone in the audience, but in a club it’s different. You can see the faces of the crowd in front of you. They look to you and see you sharing your joy with the attendees. You are a light for some of them, and even more so as a bigger bodied dancer at bear parties. You represent what a lot of party goers want: the confidence and freedom to be themselves without any sense of shame or body dysmorphia, and while myself and other dancers definitely go through those moments of self deprecation there are also the moments we connect, inspire and bring joy.

That’s what gogo dancing is for me, personally. While the money can be great, it can also be crap. The joy I have in dancing and being a part of the entertainment for the evening is what drives me to stay dancing. It’s a job, yes. It can be physically taxing and exhausting, but at the end of the night when the lights come on in the club and people tell you how much fun they had; that’s what it is all about.

I have had my fair share of fun gogo dancing throughout the country for some larger and smaller events, but I have to say that these dancers caught my attention at various Bear Runs and bar events; so watch out for them. They are all sexy as hell but beyond that, they are some of the nicest people that I have met on my travels. Meet some dancers that I like to call friends and some, family!

Silas is Golden

Helix Studio’s Newest Stud is Lighting Up Small Screens By Robbie Todoro

Born and raised in Sin City, Silas Brooks made his adult film star debut in the Helix film, Finally You. Since then, he has appeared in popular movies including Hook Up Stories Homebodies, and his latest, Tech Support, where he stars as a tech hottie who is hired to fix Seth Peterson and Aiden Garcia’s “slow computer”. In real life, Brooks is something of a computer wizard, at least when it comes to graphic design. He enjoys animating, soccer, and swimming. We got to know him a little more at his home in Las Vegas. How would you describe yourself in three words? Funny, caring, and, I don’t know… fun?

Who is the love of your life? That’s easy. Lil babies, my Pitbull pup! He’s a blue nosed Pitbull and loves people. He is super friendly to everyone! What do you love most about living in Las Vegas? I was born and raised here and I just love how unique the city is. There’s a lot of fun to be had here and not just in the gay bars, although they’re fun too! There are plenty of jobs in Vegas, especially in hospitality and nightlife. Did you enjoy your childhood? Honestly, my childhood was kind of dysfunctional. My mom and dad fought constantly. They never married. I lived full time with my Dad and spent weekends with my mother. Were you playing soccer outside with the neighborhood kids or was it more likely to find you indoors animating? It was more likely to find me inside on the computer.

What kind of animation do you do? 3D computer-generated imagery. Do you aspire to be a CGI artist? Yes! I want to get into 3D CGI art, special effects, game development, digital art and stuff like that. That’s hopefully my endgame after porn. Let’s discuss that. How did you find your way into adult film? When I turned 18, I started applying to all the top studios. Why did you choose to sign with Helix? It was the obvious best choice for me. I love everyone who works at Helix! It’s such a friendly environment and everything is done so professionally and with the fans and talent in mind. Have you become close friends with any of the guys at Helix? Yes, I would consider a bunch of them to be close friends. Garret (Kinsley), Kai (Taylor), Jacob (Hansen), Seth (Peterson), and Travis (Stevens) are all super fun to hang with. We all have so much fun when they come to Vegas to shoot, both on camera and off. Spill the tea on your favorite scene partner! That’s a tough one! If I had to name one, I think I would probably have to say Sam Ledger. Why Sam? He was so easy to work with and man, he is a good performer! What is something fans would surprised to learn about you? Maybe that I’m bisexual?

be

Do your friends and family support your adult film career? I haven’t told any of them! No one has made the discovery yet? Not that I’m aware of. If they have, no one has told me! What’s left to do on your life’s bucket list? So much! But the really big thing I still have left to do is finish school. It’s top on my list.

Did you enjoy school? Not particularly. High school was not a good time for me. I found it to be really underwhelming. But I think college will be different. Where do you see yourself in five years? Hopefully working in game development and/or doing graphic design work at a major studio. What celeb would you welcome sliding into your DMs? Lil Nas X. I love his music and he is pretty bad ass. What famous person, living or dead, would you most like to have dinner with? Gordon Ramsey so he can make the dinner. Final message to fans? I really just want to say thanks to everyone out there who supports me and enjoys the content I put out. I will keep trying my best! I especially love all the nice letters I receive from fans at Helix Studios. They’re always fun to read and I do read them. Visit HelixStudios.com MORE photos online @ peachatl.com

LIBRA: If you want to see the world from ARIES: In order to win the battles that a balanced place, then you need to start are going to happen this week, you with yourself this week. Have you been as need to be logical in your approach. Agree to an extent, but make sure that kind to yourself as you believe the world should be to each other? True change the “ideas” that occur are made to be that of the stubborn leader. Make them starts from within, so take a moment to reflect and love yourself FIRST. think they came up with it. Win. TAURUS: You have been trying so SCORPIO: You are on complete edge this desperately to show people who you week and you have had enough, but truly are but you keep holding back for before you end up biting someone’s head whatever reason. Why do you continue off think about a better way to solve the to allow others to dictate how and issue. Can you talk things out with the when you shine? Shine bright, boo. person that is causing all of the issues or Dont stop now. do you need to go to a supervisor? GEMINI: You have an unexpected bonus or gift coming this week which is EXACTLY what you need to add some more pep in your step this week. If you can focus on the energy that this perk gives you, then crank out as much work as possible and get yourself ahead.

SAGITTARIUS: Stop waiting for something external to bring you satisfaction. Take that as you will, but until you realize that you can bring yourself just as much pleasure as someone or something else, then you will continue to feel unfulfilled. Take matters into your own hands… wow, that was a huge sexual innuendo.

CAPRICORN: Try and try again. Do not CANCER: You made a mistake within think that just because you didn’t get the past 24 hours that you feel like you something right on the first try that you need to correct, and if you correct it need to give up and let that be the end quick enough, no-one will notice what of the road. You can always learn and happened. However, if you let things slide right now then you might have to you need to remember that just because you missed a step or got something worry about the repercussions. Act fast. incorrect, it’s not the end of the world. LEO: You want to make a bold decision this week, but is it really the time for you to try it? We think that because of some uncertainty in your life right now you might want to take seat and ride this week out. Let’s see what transpires and if the offer is still there next week, take it.

AQUARIUS: Someone hurt you a long time ago. It’s time to let that ish go. You are better than that, aren’t you? YES! So why are you still so hung up on letting people get the better of you? Move on. They’re not worth it but you keep them in your mind… so they are winning.

VIRGO: You love helping people; primarily because when you help someone you can get your way and since you’re a perfectionist… why not? But, this week everyone is going to need something from you and you need to slow your roll or you are going to burn out.

PISCES: You and someone very close to you have much more in common than you may think. While you are nervous about opening up to someone right now, realize that it may do more good than harm. When you open up to them they might see you in a different light, and that is all you need right now to breathe a bit easier.

Dear Peach, I have always been an admirer of guys who are bigger than me; the bears primarily. However, because I have a smaller frame and don’t even cut it as an “otter” people always seem to look down on me whenever I go to bear parties and try to socialize. Why do people have to exclude me just because I dont look like them? Any advice?

Uh, yeah. Fuck those people. You are free to occupy whatever space, whenever you want. Just because people feel the need to associate with others who look like them does not mean that your presence should be diminished from those spaces as well. There are many guys who like bigger guys, and there shouldn’t be any shame in it whatsoever. Some people have skeletons deep in their closet but they will be the first to judge you because you’re an “easier” target than tackling their own demons. Let that just roll right off your shoulders and you go find yourself a bear! They just came out of hibernation; so have your pick baby!
