Peachland won’t have a rainbow crosswalk, at least not until members of council are able to convey a clear rationale to their constituents about why the community should have one. That’s what members of council decided at Tuesday’s committee of the whole meeting, where a motion to approve spending of $1,000 to $1,500 for the installation of a rainbow crosswalk at the intersection of Beach Ave. and Third St. was defeated.
