More than fi?een years have passed since my wife and I were in your shoes, eagerly planning the day of our vows. I’m sure if we all sat down over a cup of coffee we’d share a lot of great stories about the excitement and nerves and details and joy leading up to the moment when you’ll standing face to face, lost in their gaze, speaking the words, “I do.” PEARLSNAP PHOTOGRAPHY is all about stories.

PEARLSNAP PHOTOGRAPHY QUESTIONS+ANSWERS ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL FOR MY WEDDING? Absolutely! I love to travel, whether it be to a different part of my home state of Texas or all the way to the other side of the globe. I began my obsession (turned career) with photography by visi/ng places like Ethiopia, Hai/, and India. If travel is within 3 hours of Aus/n, TX, your addi/onal expense will be $300. If the venue is more than 3 hours from Aus/n, it will be $300 plus a single night hotel accommoda/ons. If yours is a des/na/on wedding, your addi/onal expenses will be a roundtrip airfare from my choice of airline (so I can rack up some frequent flyer miles!) and 3 nights hotel accommoda/ons. WHAT PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE? To date, all my weddings have u/lized varia/ons on the list below. However, I love playing with new (and old) photography toys such as my Contax 645 and Mamiya RB67 Pro SD medium format film cameras and my Fuji Instax 210. So don’t be shocked when I pull out some funky, old school Polaroid or 35mm camera to shake things up a bit!
Camera Bodies: Canon 5D Mark III and 5D Mark II (which also serves as a back-up should anything unfortunate happen to my Mark III!)
Lenses: Canon 24mm 1.4L, 35mm 1.4L, 50mm 1.4, 85mm1.2L, 100 macro 2.8, 135mm 2L, 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L Yes, my gear bag is heavy. No, I don’t bring every lens every /me.
LighQng: Canon 600 EX-RT, 580 EXii (x2), Einstein 640 strobe with a 39’ Elinchrom deep octa powered by a Vagabond II. And if you actually made it through that en/re list, remind me that I owe you a high five.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE I RECEIVE MY WEDDING PHOTOS? Because I personally select and edit every single image from every single wedding I shoot, it will take between 4 and 6 weeks to receive your wedding day photos. HOW MANY PHOTOS SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM OUR WEDDING DAY? While there’s no set limit, most couples receive between 500-800 photographs. This, of course, depends on how the day goes, the amount of details, how many guests are aWending, amount of /me, etc. HOW DO WE BOOK PEARLSNAP FOR OUR WEDDING? Now you’re talking! Just email me at steven@pearlsnapphotography.com and let me know you’re ready to book. I’ll send you my Wedding Agreement to read over, ini/al, and sign. Then you’ll mail a copy of the signed Agreement along with your reserva/on fee (50% of your total) back to me.
