INTRODUCTION

YOU ARE GOING TO BE READING ABOUT THE OREGON TRAIL AND COVERED WAGONS SUPPLY'S THAT THEY NEEDED AND HOW OUR LIVES ARE SO EASY AND THERE'S WERE NOT AS EASY BECAUSE THEY HUNTED FOR FOOD AND WE JUST GO TO THE STORE AND BUY IT AND IF WE WANT CLOTHES WE JUST GO TO THE STORE BUT IF THE WANTED CLOTHES THEY HAD TO FIND A BISON OR ANY ANIMAL AND TAKE ITS FUR BUT THEY ALSO ATE THE MEAT.

IN 1843 PEOPLE BEGAN MOVING TO OREGON IN HOPES OF GETTING FREE LAND TO FARM.THEY FOLLOWED THE OREGON TRAIL. ABOUT 400,000 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN MADE THE 2,000 MILE TRIP IT TOOK ABOUT SIX MONTHS TO GET TO OREGON.USING THE OREGON TRAIL. LIFE ON THE TRAIL WAS NOT EASY THE PIONEERS TRAVELED IN COVERED WAGONS.THE WAGONS WERE USUALLY MADE OF HICKORY, OAK OR MAPLE.THEY HAD TO BE PRETTY STRONG

WAGONS ARE USUALLY MADE OUT OF HICKORY, OAK OR MAPLE BUT THE WAGONS HAD TO BE VERY STRONG BECAUSE THE PIONEERS HAD TO GO ACROSS RIVERS TO GET TO OREGON AND IF THE WAGON WAS NOT STRONG IT WOULD BRAKE AND ALL OF THE THINGS INSIDE THE WAGON WOULD SALE DOWN THE RIVER.THE WAGONS HAD HORSES OR MULES PULLING THEME AND TWO PEOPLE IN THE FRONT TO GET THE ANIMALS MOVING BUT SOME OF THE ANIMALS ONLY COULD GO TWO MILES PER HOUR.WIPING THEME WHICH I THINK IS PRETTY MEAN BUT THE PIONEERS HAD TO DO THAT TO DISCOVER OREGON AND WHAT I'VE HEARD IS THAT ON THE OREGON TRAIL THE PIONEERS ATE FOOD THAT LASTED LONGER. MOST OF THE PIONEERS HAD TO WALK THE PEOPLE IN THE WAGON WERE SICK, OR INJURED.

ON THE OREGON TRAIL WAS LIMITED BECAUSE THE WAGONS WERE NORMALLY MADE OUT OF HICKORY, OR OAK OR MAPLE. LIFE ON THE OREGON TRAIL WAS REALLY HARD BECAUSE THEY HAD TO BRING FOOD AND WATER AND THE KIDS PROBABLY GOT TO BRING LIKE ONE LITTLE TOY AND THEY ALSO PROBABLY ALSO HAD TO BRING WATER AND LOADS OF FOOD AS WELL

LIFE ON THE OREGON TRAIL WAS HARD FOR ALL THE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAD TO BRING SURTAN ITEMS LIKE FOOD, WATER, BLANKETS, CLOTHES, SHOES, AND MORE BUT THEY HAD TO ONLY BRING THE ITEMS THAT THEY NEEDED BECAUSE THEY HAD TO LIVE ON

Animals on the Oregon trail Wolves and bears were two large predators that immigrants on the Oregon trail had to endure, the wolves often hunted in packs and they followed bison herds picking the younger and the weaker ones in the herd wolves would also go after pronghorn, antelope and other like that small, fast and weak.

THE OREGON TRAIL UNTIL THEY GOT TO OREGON SO THEY ONLY TOOK FOOD, WATER, CLOTHES, MEDICINE, SHOES, AND OTHER ITEMS THAT THEY NEEDED.THE PEOPLE ON THE OREGON TRAIL ONLY TOOK WHAT THEY NEEDED AND I THINK IF YOU HELD A PEACE OF FOOD UP TO THE PEOPLE ON THE OREGON TRAIL THEY WOULD EAT IT STRAIT OUT OF YOUR HAND.

Kids on the Oregon trail Kids on the Oregon trail made the 5-6 mile trip with their families, its estimated that 40,000 of the people were kids, one of the only five (except during the gold rush years, when the trails where crowded with single men).

DID YOU KNOW THAT ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FORTS IN THE SETTLEMENT OF THE AMERICAN WEST, LARAMIE SERVED MANY FUNCTIONS THROUGHOUT ITS HISTORY THE OREGON TRAIL IS SUPER EDUCATIONAL AND AWSOME.

CONCLUSION THE OREGON TRAIL WAS THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO OREGON BACK THEN AND WENE THEY IN COUNTERED RIVERS, MOUNTAINS AND OTHER THINGS LIKE THAT AND I THINK THAT ON THE OREGON TRAIL WHEN THEY FOUND WATER THE KIDS ARE LIKE HOORAY BUT THE ADULTS ARE LIKE HOW DO WE GET ALL ARE THINGS ACROSS THE WATER WITHOUT LOSING OUR BELONGINGS AND WITHOUT LOSING ANYBODY.
