OREGON TRAIL

Supply for the Oregon trial On the Oregon trail the pioneers took obviously some tools and stuff they will need... First they will need cooking tools to of course eat and make the food with if you did not have cooking tools you would probably not make it out alive because you cant make food.

Next they will also need clothing because if it is a very warm day and all you have is winter clothes you will have a high percent chance that you will have a Heat attack or fourteen percent chance you will die and if you have only clothes for summer where its hot in winter your would freeze to death or have frost bite.

Also you cant live with out food so obviously you would need food or else you would suffer or die but also have a million headaches well not as much but maybe allot. You would need allot of food if you have a big family.food is probably the most important thing you would take in the Oregon trail.

Ok next one you probably should know where do you sleep?well of course you would need tent supplies end bedding if you did not have bedding then in the night you will be cold in the ground no bed no covers just a uncomfortable bumpy ground with some itchy grass well you also need a tent so you would be a little warmer then outside and if you have a bed with covers you would be about fifty percent better than being outside so this is another thing the pioneers would bring.

They would also use tools and equipment. Some tools are like a set of augers, gimlet,ax,hammer, hoe, plow, shovel, spade, wetstones, oxbows, axles, night bolts, ox shoes, hard chains, and of course a wagon because then you would travel by foot which will be annoying.

And finally you need some weapons.first reason why you need weapons is to defend yourself of animals or strangers you would also need a weapons to hunt like a spear bow or knife or you could fish for fish. But you need weapons for the trail they are important!

Covered wagons The pioneers traveled by wagons they traveled a very long time it took them about 4-6 months every single day they had to travel 15 miles a day! That is allot imagine you as a kid traveling fifteen miles a day the only brake you have is when you have finished those fifteen miles man that is harsh we right now are lucky because we have cars and travel faster the pioneers had a hard time some died which is sad.If you were in the last wagon it wouldn't be good because all the sand will go to your wagon and that would hurt your eyes so you better be in the front or at least try to cover your eyes to be safe you could either have a long wagon or a regular the longer ones had more room which was good

There are two types of animals oxon horses and mules mules were very dumb but still they had them horses were good. It after a long time they would faint or die an oxon has a very low chance of fainting it is grave and can resist a very very long time oxon are strong horses are strong but I would recommend you if you were in the Oregon trail use a oxon or a horse but. Not a mule they do not go fast not strong and can faint easily.

Each paw means better
