What was the Gold Rush Chapter 1
The Gold Rush started in 1849 January 24 and ended in 1855. The Gold was found by James W. Marshal at sutter's mill in Coloma, California. The Gold Rush came up on the news and 300,000 people went to California for the Gold. The sudden influx of immigration and Gold into the money supply reinvigorated the American economy. The California Gold Rush initiated the California Genocide, it had 100,000 Native Californians dying between 1849 and 1868. When it started to end California had gone from a thinly populated ex-Mexican territory to the home state of the nominee for the Republican Party.

What happened in the Gold Rush Chapter 2
James W. Marshal found a yellow shiny rock dungeon in the dirt. It was gold! Suddenly he started to tell everyone. People from all over America. Most people were native Californians. People died digging and traveling to California because they only had wagons. It took long for the minors to find gold because the gold was as little as a small rock Actual size For most of the people it was difficult because it took about a week to find at least 3 pieces of gold. About 100,000 people died in the Gold Rush. Somehow all of the ways that they took were dangerous. Even the ships caring the forty-niners were sinking.

The people who were seeking the gold they traveled by wagon which was a better way to travel they were often attacks from the Native Americans. Wen the Indians attacked it was very rare for them because it was their only threat. Even the women came to California to make some money. In 1835 the Americans in Texas had a war against Mexico. 10 years later, Texas became the 28th state of America. Wen the war ended between United States and Mexico in 1846, Americans in California also revolted.

How they cleaned the Gold Chapter 3
The miners used pans to cleaned the gold. They have to shake the pans to find the gold but most things in the pans were dirt. How i said in the previous chapter people only found 30 dollars a month but later on the years they fund 300 dollars a day. By the year 1869 railroads were built across the country from California to the eastern United States. Most of the Gold was found in Gila River. With the water from the River they cleaned the Gold and exchange it for money. The Gold can't be accepted if it's not cleaned. Gold was worth about 1,000-5,000. The pans were the fastest way to clean the Gold some miners had to used hands to clean 8

I hope you really liked my book i put a lot of effort on this book i used this website wikipedia.com , kidrex.org and ducksters.com those wear the websites i used to fined information and clues for the California Gold Rush. Something that i didn't mention in the story is that the miners only found 12 ounces of gold. Using 2012 pieces will make 20 billion dollars. For entertainment the forty niners could and ,enjoy singing and making some music. They also had a bowling alley so they can go bowling, they also had cards and pool. The most famous song was "ho! Susanna". And there's a thing that i didn't mention in the book is that the woman that were mining for gold got more gold than men, they at least got 100 dollars a day then moved up to 300 dollars a day.  12
