Lewis & Clark Lewis and Clark are the ones who crossed from unitaded states to Oregon they had 30 people on the group Lewis was the captain of the group and Clark was a soldier tho as Jefferson told to cross and to buy country's SO THEY COULD FIND NEW SPECIES Lewis was born in August 1774. And Clark was born august 1 1770 They tried to buy part of mexico but they couldnt and they had the revolution war and Mexico lost and now Mexico is not that little in the inside but in the outside its little

What did they take They took guns and powder because there was going to be dangerous animals like bobcats amend more animals they took a boat to travel near ohio Misisipi river books food close THEY HAD TO BRING horses backpacks pencils water and some people when They didn't have food they had to hunt with spears knives or their weapons they hunted deers. boats to travel to other places hunters because they wont have nothing to eat lumber jackers to make houses because they wont have shelter an the rain is going to make them wet and SOME JACKET OR COATS and with their note books they writed on their note book new plants animals like bears fox

When did they travel LUWIS and Clark and their 30 men traveled in 1804 LUWIS told Clark if he wanted to come in the exploration and he responded yes he got stuff that he needed for the exploration and he went to LUWIS and start their exploration and gathered their team cuerpo del descubrimiento and had to travel a long way he always writed on his journal in. The middle of the expedition on boat on the Mississippi River and got to their destination by buying countries so they can cross Thomas Jeff Edson told them and to buy Louisiana and that's how they got to their destination they had to brave strong water and clim the it was the longest westward Indians they had to cross over the Indians but they wouldn't the Indians said to give them guns and powder they had to cross the Rocky Mountains that was dangerous one rong strep you fall they had to travel 8,000 miles they even took samples of plants to prove the research

Who did they meet They met the Indians and had to cross over the Indians but they couldn't because they wanted powder and guns bad people but they said no they were going to give them food but they disagreed and asked again they had to make a deel if they helped them with there expedition they would give the guns and the powder and said yes and went whith them in the expedition they had to kill bears because they would kill them and worked as a team and sagawea joinded them to tell them what the Indians where saying to LUWIS and Clark but she's didnt know how to talk Sioux and took her baby to the exploration and her husband to join the exploration they were starting to know each other the team and the Sioux when they finished with there exploration sagacawea went searching for his brother but sagacawea thought lewis was his brother.

When did it end It ended on 1806 when they got back Thomas Jefferson gave them some treasure for all the work they gave them the samples and told him the species they found and they gave them the treasure and LUWIS wife was Sacajawea LUWIS died October 11 1809 near Nashville Tennessee Clark died i September 1 1838 they were the greatest sacagewea died in december 20 1821 and Thomas Jefferson died in July 4 1826 and when the expedition ended they a lot fruit vegetables fish berries roots varieties of meats and that fueled up to go on their expedition ready and that exploration was one of the famous exploration and dangerous exploratins done in the 1800s and everybody was happy that their family survived but the ones that didn't there family was sad there statues are in Washington d.c

What did they eat They a a lot of onions and LUWIS almos ate a dog they ate 9 pounds of meat a day salmon and a lot a fish and lobsters beans dears and vegetables and different kind of food they almost got eaten by a bear they ate carrots they eat coyotes/ fox/corn when they eat sheep beavers antelope bison portable soup bear elk and thick paste and when they came back they ate fish meat berries vegetables that's were they rewarded because they haven't eaten that for 2 years they couldn't drink water from the ocean because it was salty and if you drink it you would get sick they had to get clean water so they could rink it and survive it was hard for them to fin clean water some died of hunger

Who did they face They faced bobcats,bears,snakes,fox,stamped,bulls indians. They had to camp i forest so they had to be careful because they mite meet a bear and foxes,wolfs they had face the hard Misisipi river some went in a fores the Misisipi that was a short cut and the forest took a long time to cross some past away in the Misisipi river some of them survived their destaniont was Bend Oregon that wasn't still part of United States they only bout a part so they could go when they reached to their destanion they started looking for new animals they Found dangerous animals too not just friendly they found bunnies wolfs beavers bears buffalo and discovered new plants elk falcon coyotes new fish and snakes when they finished they went back and told Thomas Jefferson all the discoveries they found and they were rewarded with some treasure and brought him DNA too and he was surprised they were the ones who discovered those animals and how we now what's the animals name.

Life of Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson was born in April 13 1743 shadwell,va he was president of the United States president number 3 he told lewis and Clark to go to Oregon and go search for new things but. They couldn't because another state was their so they had a problem so that place was called Louisiana so they had to purchase it and Louisiana wanted $15,0000 they had to buy it and they did buy it later the expedition started and lewis and clark so when they finished he was normal and gave him all the answers they gave all the news to the people everybody was surprised they started at east to north and that's Oregon it really took long 2 years from st.louis to the place oregon it was 2 years beacause they stayed there
