PLAY develops a child’s creativity & problem solving skills.
PLAY teaches children social skills that help them develop friendships. Statistics show that children today play outside 50% less than in previous generations. Parents are over scheduling their children with structured activities, leaving them with little to no free time. This alarming fact has led to the rise of anxiety, stress, attention-deficit problems, and overall developmental issues with our young.
At Peekaboo Beans the importance of PLAY is rooted in all that we do. We design products that stay true to our message and believe in partnering with like-minded community leaders & educators.

PLAY REVOLUTION The Peekaboo Beans Play Revolution was created to inspire both parents and children to respect the important role that play has in a child’s development. Through various PLAY initiatives, we are working to make a difference by bringing free, unstructured PLAY back into the lives of children. POP UP PLAYDATES Pop Up Playdates are open invitations to meet at parks and playgrounds in various communities to promote free, unstructured PLAY. These events are a tool in bringing back the simple act of PLAY and to aid our children in developing into happy, healthy human Beans!

PLAY-ducation is a series of workshops with knowledgeable industry leaders. Each workshop provides parents and guardians with the tools to help support their children in the critical developmental years (infancy-teen).

PLAYGROUND BUILDERS Expanding the Play Revolution beyond the walls of our own backyards, Peekaboo Beans has partnered with Playground Builders – a grassroots organization that builds playgrounds in war-torn countries, bringing life, laughter and PLAY to children across the globe.
With the help of our Independent Play Stylists, we have raised over $36,950 and built 6 playgrounds. These playgrounds provide 25,000 children with a safe environment to play.
PLAY It Forward: In support of Playground Builders, Peekaboo Beans invites Play Stylists to donate a portion of their commission on a monthly/annual basis, and in turn, Peekaboo Beans matches each and every donation.

What Makes Beans Special ETHICAL MANUFACTURING We work closely with our Magic Bean Makers to ensure our clothes are made in a happy and healthy environment. Each year, members of our team make the trip overseas to see first-hand that labour laws and safety standards are upheld.
DESIGNED BY MOMS Our design team knows how difficult dressing a growing Bean can be. We design our clothes to foster independence, allowing Beans to play and grow in comfort and style. Our product is play tested by our staff of busy moms and their playful Beans.
CUSTOM FABRICS From raw fiber to finished garment, we customize the details of our fabric to be ready for safe and comfortable play. Our fabric is third party tested to guarantee that it is aligned with Oeko-tex Standard 100 for children’s fabric. This means our fabric does not contain harmful levels of heavy metals and other harsh additives that are often found in fabrics and dyes.
