PRESIDENT’S CORNER HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope that everyone had a joyous holiday season and a great beginning to 2012. Annual Assessments – Please Pay On Time! As we begin the new year, we want to remind all homeowners how important it is to pay your annual assessments on time. As everyone should already know, the annual assessments are due January 1st and are considered late if paid after January 30th. Paying your assessment balance in full and on time ensures that you will not be assessed late interest and collection fees. Late interest is 1.5% of your unpaid assessment balance and collection fees are $15.00 per month. We understand that everyone’s financial situation is different and it may not be possible for everyone to pay in full in January. It is very important to contact Alliance Association Management as soon as you realize you may not be able to pay in full so that you may discuss payment plan options. A payment plan request form was mailed with every annual statement in December. If you should need a payment plan, please fill out that form and submit it to Alliance. Please remember that there is a $25.00 processing fee that is payable directly to Alliance. If you do not pay on time and do not request a payment plan, you are subject to having a lien filed against your property. The HOA would like to avoid this situation; however, the HOA must adhere to its approved collection policy. If you have any questions about your balance or your payment options, please contact Alliance. Executive Committee Vacancy The Treasurer position is currently vacant on the Executive Committee. If you are interested in being appointed to this position, please contact the HOA at chandlercreek@gmail.com or call Alliance to speak with the Community Manager. NEW COMMUNITY MANAGER The HOA has a new community manager: Vangie Bocanegra. Vangie has been with Alliance for several years and came highly recommended to Chandler Creek. In the short time that the Executive Committee has worked with her, we have been very impressed with her attention to detail and quick responsiveness. We think Chandler Creek homeowners will be impressed with Vangie as well. Vangie can be reached via e-mail at vangie@ allianceonline.net or by phone at 512-347-2863. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Vangie as she begins to serve our HOA. REMINDER: PAY YOUR ASSESSMENTS!! Annual assessments will be considered late if not paid by January 30th. In the August newsletter we provided everyone with a link to an online survey. While the number of respondents was smaller than we hoped for, the responses we received were very helpful. While we do not have the space to print the responses here, we do have them available if anyone would like a copy.
