Board of Directors meetings for 2013

Wimbledon Champions Homeowners Association

The Board of Directors will hold their first meeting on January 16, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. at the offices of Chaparral Management, 6630 Cypresswood Drive, Suite #100. Future dates and starting time for HOA meetings will be reviewed at the January meeting and any changes will be posted in the next newsletter.

The first annual meeting of the members was held on December 5, 2012. Thank you to all who attended and who take an active interest in this community. We had the privilege of nine residents willing to serve on the Board of Directors. Peter Black, Mark Brumbaugh, Elaine A Holman and Jean Kuecher were among the candidates. Those elected are as follows: • Tom Worley – President Term expires 2014 • Glen R. Murdock - Vice President Term expires 2015 • Burt Felner – Treasurer Term expires 2014 • Gayle Jennings – Secretary Term expires 2015 • Reza Shalchi – Member at Large Term expires 2013

Wimbledon Champions Women’s Coffee at 10:00 AM Friday, January 18 Welcome ladies. Please join us for the coffee at the home of Kelli Adams, 16331 Cochet Spring Dr., on Friday, January 18, at 10:00 AM to noon. This will be the third of our five coffees during the school year. The coffee is open to all residents of WC. Enjoy friendly conversation while getting to know your neighbors. Bring your neighbors and something delicious to share. DAR Meeting

The San Jacinto Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the chapter Sunday, December 2nd. This celebration honored founding members and past regents. 2 founding members were present and 12 past regents as well as 3 state officers. San Jacinto DAR is a great supporter of local historical site, patriotism in schools, veterans and active military.
