Holiday Decoration Contest from Your MBCHOA Board
As we drove the neighborhood a couple weeks before Christmas looking at all of the outdoor decorations, we realized very quickly that picking our favorite houses was not going to be easy. We were excited to see so many yards decorated, and the variety of styles displayed was wonderful. Some were very simple and some much more involved, but they were all effective in representing the spirit of the season. Although difficult, after some debate and with a little help from some kids in the neighborhood, we were able to piece together our top 5. We realize that everyone’s favorites may be different and some maybe not even on this list, but that just shows you what a fantastic job so many of you did with your holiday decorations. Thank you. The winners were: 5th Place ($20 prize) – 15901 Brasesgate Dr. 4th Place ($40) – 8912 Pepper Rock Dr. 3rd Place ($60) – 15905 Ruel Cv. 2nd Place ($80) – 8702 White Creek Dr. 1st Place ($100) – 8914 Pepper Rock Dr. If you’re a bit bummed that you did not make the top 5, please be comforted by the fact that you many more chances to earn some recognition for your yard this year. As you may have noticed late last year, the Meadows Yard of the Month program has been reinstated and we’re already looking for the next winner. We wish all of you a great 2013!
