LANGHAM CREEK CHOIR NEWS The LCHS choir members, under the direction of Christopher Fiorini and Mica Bull, delighted the crowd at the Stars and Legends Pop Show. The A Cappella Choir opened Act 1 with “Let Me Be Your Star” from Smash and Act 2 with “Beautiful Day” by U2. The entertainment continued throughout the evening with group, duo and solo performances. The audience was entertained by Jessica Ramos-Ordones as Selena, Jessica Donaldson, Brittnee Simone & Marissa Thrower as The Dixie Chicks, Alejandro Cardona as Michael Buble, Jennifer Terlouw as Barbara Streisand, TK Huff as Stevie Wonder, Leah Douglas as Aretha Franklin, Jacey Lofton and Alba Zepeda as Reba, Brittnee Simone as Sarah Bareilles, Kody Kitchen, Austin Almanza, Tyler Chavarria & Alex Regal as The Beatles, Ashley Kidd as Carrie Underwood, Dakota Crespo, Shane O’Neil, Gwen Leonares and Maggie McDonnell as Beyonce, Theo Glass, Christian New & Victor Torres as Jason Mraz, Jordan Williamson as Diana Ross, Dakota Crespo & Molly McConnell as Ingrid Michaelson & Sarah Bareilles, Jessica Branas as Adele and Aubrey Beason as Alicia Keys. COPPERFIELD COURIER While preparing for contest season, the Bailadoras have also made some time for fun. The girls and their moms attended the annual Mother Daughter Banquet in December. That event featured the senior girls modeling formals from Muzzies. Seniors are pictured above. In January the Bailadoras and their dates enjoyed a memorable evening at their annual formal “Black and White Masquerade”. The girls are now focused on contest season which will culminate with a trip to San Marcos during Spring Break to compete in the Crowd Pleasers National Contest. BAILADORA SPRING SHOW! Be sure to mark your calendars to attend the Annual Bailadora Spring Show ~ Life is a Runway, So Strut Your Stuff. Cypress Creek High School and the Business and Finance Academy will host a Job Fair on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event will be held on the Cypress Creek High School campus, 9815 Grant Road, Houston, TX, in the large commons. The Job Fair is being held to provide the opportunity for people in the local community to find employment. The Job Fair will also afford the businesses in our local communities the benefit of finding desired employees.
