TNW POA BOARD MEETING

Submitted by Mary Beth Kreml Security: Please lock cars parked on street or driveway; reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles. Be sure to monitor packages left on front porch; report of theft of a FedEx package. Please call constable’s office about suspicious activity near construction sites; copper wiring was stolen from a house under construction. In addition, there was a family disturbance, and a juvenile who ran away was found and returned home. Constables wrote 64 tickets and traveled 1305 miles through our neighborhood. There was a discussion regarding noise/ disturbances. Please call constable’s office about the noise to create an incident log, Constable Harrah also suggested filing a complaint with Judge Adams regarding “unreasonable noise” if disturbances and noise continued after repeated calls to the constables’ office. Incessant barking dogs can be a noise nuisance. Please be respectful of all your neighbors. Constable office: 281.376.3472. Beautification: Trees are being trimmed along TC Jester and the Board is getting bids for irrigation on TC Jester south of Glenmere. There are future plans to plant bushes along the western side of TC Jester similar to those on the east side. Pool: Dianne Moynihan reported that more than 190 wristbands have been distributed. The Board is ordering more to accommodate all the Terranova West swimmers. Please note that wristbands will not be distributed to nor given to guests – they are only for residents. Architectural Review Committee and Deed Restrictions: The Board continues to ensure that our residents comply with deed restrictions and architectural standards – this is a large part of what maintains property values. Our neighborhood continues to be a place in which people want to move. Thank you, Cheri, for being one of the first people to greet our new neighbors. Traffic Lights planned on TC Jester: The Board will recommend to Commissioner Cagle that the stop signs be left at Ashmere/TC Jester and Springton/TC Jester when the stop light is installed at Glenmere/ TC Jester. Please maintain the posted speed limits when driving through neighborhoods on TC Jester. Chapparral Management: Our current manager, Judy Gordon, will be retiring in October. Stacy Johnston will join Judy Gordon during the July, August and September POA meetings and will take over fulltime for Judy in October. Current and past POA Board members, as well as all residents of Terranova West cannot thank Judy enough for her help and guidance – she has been a real gift to all residents.
