NEW DIRT

DECEMBER 2013

Director, First Vice President Melanie E. Breed I currently serve as Treasurer on the Louetta Road Utility District and have worked with a number of other water boards and emergency services districts. Previously, I served on the Terra Nova Home Owners’ Association (HOA) for six years as Secretary. I also have worked in a number of voluntary positions over the years, principally while my children attended area schools. As a member of Faithbridge United Methodist Church, I have been active in several areas of service, as has my husband, John. I believe that strong neighborhoods are essential to the quality of life we enjoy. Maintaining that quality of life depends on active and involved volunteers. I thank you for your support. Director, Second Vice President Deborah A. Cariss I am currently the Assistant Secretary and a Director on the Louetta Road Utility District. I am running for an open voting position on the Civic Association of Terra Nova Homeowners Association (HOA). I have served in the past as the Recreation Director and the Clubhouse Director. I am active with Terra Nova parties, the Yard of the Month selections and welcoming as well as providing information to our new neighbors as a member of the Welcoming Committee. I was instrumental in getting the New Dirt reinstated this November. I attend the HOA meetings regularly and support the HOA members in their efforts to keep Terra Nova a safe and family friendly neighborhood. My husband and I have lived here since March of 1991. Nick Longtin I have lived in Terra Nova going on five years now. In that time I have involved myself in many ways including: being part of the “Night Watchmen” of our neighborhood before we had our private off duty contract, Volunteering at several community parties and events, and serving on the Board of Directors for nearly three years in several different positions. I have a love for this community and a want to help keep its rich history alive, strong, and growing. I feel confident that my openness to communication, experience on the Board, love for this community, and my drive to make a difference make me an exceptional choice to have on your Terra Nova Board of Directors.
