YARD MAINTENACE

REMINDERS Now that the MOWing season is here, please take a minute to review these yard maintenance reminders. YARD MAINTENANCE Yards must be kept up frequently enough to maintain an overall decent appearance. This includes: • Mowing front and side yards of corner lots; all backyards must be mowed as well. • Edging sidewalks, driveways and curbs; NO runners should be showing on paved surfaces. • Weed control in grass, flowerbeds and cracks; weed eating at fences, walls and foundations. • Grass maintenance by treating diseased areas and adding sod or reseeding where grass has died. • Trimming hedges and bushes as needed. • Blowing or sweeping up grass clippings after maintenance. • Removing dead plants, shrubs and trees in a timely manner. • Regular watering without violating local voluntary or mandatory conservation directives. YARD MAINTENANCE VIOLATION FINES For Yard Maintenance, ONE warning that will include a forced mow warning will be sent on the 1st violation. The 2nd violation will result in a $25 fine and thereafter forced mows can be ordered at the owner’s expense.

Sonoma Pools Our pools reopened on April 1. The slide at Barefoot Pool will not be operational until Lifeguards are on duty beginning Memorial Day weekend. For safety reasons and to avoid damage to the slide, please do not allow children to climb up the slide or jump over the gate when it is locked. If you have not obtained your new pool card, you can go online to www.poolkey.com to request one. The HOA is absorbing the cost of this initial replacement card. Cards issued before 2014 no longer work. Please contact our property manager, Jim Smitherman at jim.smitherman@ goodwintx.com or 512-502-2114 if you have any questions. To ensure a successful and safe swim season, compliance with the Pool Rules is mandatory. Please be respectful of the lifeguards and monitors. The Pool Rules are posted at each pool and can also be found at www.hoasonoma.com.

Dog Stations The HOA recently added 4 more dog stations for your convenience. We are hoping that this will reduce the number of poo filled plastic bags that are found in beds and trees along our main sidewalks. They are located at: • The park on Forest Creek Dr. between the Rusk Roads • The north side of Forest Creek Drive just east of the bridge near Paradise Ridge • The east side of via Sonoma in the set back by the Sonoma monument • The lot the west side of Paradise Ridge near Collingwood Thank you for using bags and disposing of them properly!

The Grapevine A Little Consideration, PLEASE! Sonoma is a family neighborhood made up of residents of all ages. Please be considerate when parking in your driveway to not block the sidewalk. We don’t want young children, the elderly or special needs neighbors to have to enter the street to get around these cars...it is just not safe for them to have to do so! Thank you for your consideration and for asking your guests to do the same.
