LACROSSE CLUB HONORS SENIORS The Cy-Fair Iron Maidens Lacrosse Club recognized their senior players at their last home game on March 12th. McKenna Fisher, Mary Beth Rumfield, Lindsey Jones, and Brenna Lyons-Letts were honored in a ceremony after a game against Episcopal High School. Also recognized in the ceremony was former teammate Julia Marie Briggs, who suddenly and very unexpectedly passed away at 13 from Mediastinal Lymphoma (a very rare and aggressive cancer). Julia would have been a senior this year as well. McKenna Fisher (Lamkin, Arnold, Cy-Fair) is a 7 year veteran who played attack and midfield, and served as JV Captain and Varsity Captain. Cypress Woods) is a 7-year veteran defenseman. Mary Beth Rumfield (Holmsley, Arnold, Cy-Fair) also is a 7-year veteran defenseman, and served as JV Captain. Brenna Lyons-Letts (Robison, Spillane/Smith, Cypress Ranch/Royal HS) is a 9-year veteran and played midfielder and goalkeeper. Fisher was a member of Student Council, FCA, Skim2Live, Key Club, & is a Lacrosse Ref. Rumfield was active in NHS, FFA, FCA, & Key Club. Jones participated in NSHSS, Proclaim the Name, & Key Club. Lyons-Letts was a member of FCA & FFA. McKenna plans to play lacrosse for Missouri Baptist University. Brenna, Mary Beth and Lindsey all plan to attend Texas A&M University.
