A word from the HOA PRESIDENT Dear Residents of Westside at Buttercup, On August 30, 2014 the Robinson family gifted a memorial to Westside at Buttercup honoring their son Scott Robinson, a long time resident within the subdivision and father of twins, Joshua and Sophie. Scott was a very active young leader in the local area, and admired by many for his efforts to better the community and tech industry. His many friends and family dedicated the memorial, located at the Kay Redden Pool area, honoring Scotts life and a lasting memorial for him that his young children and extended family and friends

may remember and find warmth in his memory here. The memorial is open 24 hours a day and is a nice asthetic addition to Kay Redden Park. The real beauty of this memorial however, is that the intended use of this memorial is for all of the community to utilize as well by adding their own "Memorial Bench" in memory of a resident family members passing. The bench you see at the memorial will be the required standard for all to use and will have to be approved by the board before it can be added to the memorial. The intent for this
standard is to provide a lasting sturdy and attractive memorial, representative of the people that we have lost, in perpetuity. Take the time to stop and visit the memorial. It is a great place to find solace and have moments in personal prayer in dealing with daily stress. If you have a chance and know Jim Robinsion, a resident in the WBC as well, thank him for sharing this with the HOA. Walt Conlin President, WBCHOA
