POOLS, TOOLS AND RULES SENDERA HOMEOWNER'S ASSOCIATION
2014 was a banner year for the Sendera Swim Center and Park. We held several events for the benefit and enjoyment of our residents and their families. We held movie nights, fun runs, an Easter egg hunt, 4th of July party, girl’s night out and other events that contribute to making our neighborhood very special. We also wanted to report that this past summer our life guards saved the lives of 4 children. My wife and I were actually present at 2 of these events and watched them happen right in front of us. At the end of the pool season we rewarded the pool guards with Visa gift cards for their hard work and as a way of saying thank you. Your Board of Directors has decided to change pool vendors this year and we will be doing business with a company named Cruzin Aquatics. One of the benefits of this change is that they teach swimming lessons. Many of our residents have been asking for this service and now you will be able to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. We will post the “sign in” information and applications on line and have them on hand at the pool. This past fall while the pool was closed the BOD decided to remove the cool deck at the pool. placed there as a deterrent to prevent people from slipping and falling. In the past few years it has succumbed to wear and tear and was coming up in large sections. We are also planning to purchase another picnic table that will be kept next to the two existing tables. Our life guards are there to watch over our residents. We’d like to remind you that you cannot drop off your early teenage/ tween children and leave them unattended. This did occur last summer. When this happens, we will have your children call you for immediate pickup. Please tell your children that our pool facility rules will be enforced. One rule that many youngsters seem to ignore is the one that prohibits climbing on or holding on to the lap lane divider. Your children must also be told to mind the instructions and commands of our pool guards as they are there to protect our residents. We look forward to a wonderful and exciting 2015 pool season. We encourage you to come out and enjoy the free wifi, BBQ pits, picnic tables and our playgrounds. If you do not have a current access card for the pool, contact our management company, Pioneer Management, to secure one.
