Hello Neighbors from your

BOARD PRESIDENT Well, as this message is being written, we've all just received two gigantic bins for trash and recycling with new schedules for recycling and new rules for trash collecting. Take time to read the new rules from the trash contractor. The HOA board will soon be discussing what needs to be done about deed restrictions so that we have a realistic way to store these bins. The MAIN thing we NEED to do is to remember to not have ANY cars parked on the streets during pickup days. There is no way these huge, mechanized trucks can manuever our streets (especially the cul-de-sacs) if cars are parked there. This may be new to us and the surrounding neighborhoods, but is fairly common in other areas. The board will be looking at important projects for this next year during our meetings. One (of many) things I've learned while being on the HOA board is that all projects move at a pace that would make a snail feel like a race horse. You put out Copyright © 2015 Peel, Inc.

the proposed projects for bids---get the bids---vote on which bid to accept----arrange a contract with the winning bidder--and then wait until they can get to that project. I still haven't had the chance to say "Boy, that went fast!" The Christmas decorating went well for this second year of awarding the Yard of the Month to the winner. This year it went to 19310 Camellia Bend which could probablly be seen from the International Space Station!. I thank the family who did the judging (anonymously to protect their safety in case someone else thought they should have won instead). It appeared that we had more cecorated yards than in previous years and many of them looked beautiful. Next year I'm proposing that we provide some type of award other than the regular Yard of the Month sign. AND, for those of you who said "Where is Camellia Bend?" get out on your feet, bikes, or cars and tour the neighborhood and learn our streets. That's an order---or a suggestion.
