BOARD REPORT March 2015 The Board met in January & February and minutes for all meetings are posted to the Bella Vista website after Board approval the following month. Annexation – Since we are now residents of Cedar Park, you can report a variety of problems to the City for resolution. You will need to fill out a brief form on their website (http:// www.cedarparktexas.gov/index.aspx?page=41) and the list of issues includes abandon vehicles, animal problems, noise, litter, potholes, etc. If you did not receive or cannot find the City’s welcome package it is available on the website at (www. cedarparktexas.gov/annexation). Convenience Store - The City approved annexation of the lot next to the storage business and a development agreement has been finalized for the convenience store. We are not sure when construction will begin but it will not operate 24 hours and new turning lanes will be required along Anderson Mill and Dies Ranch so traffic will not be impeded. We have confirmed that the sidewalk will be completed along Dies Ranch Road; therefore, bus service will be discontinued for the middle school and high school and more details will be provided as they become available. Maintenance – Please note that holiday decorations must

be removed no later than 30 days after the holiday has ended; therefore all Christmas/New Year decorations should have been removed by January 31. Landscaping – The Board is happy to report that 18 Arizona Cypress trees were planted at the end of Orsobello Place along with irrigation and a new water meter. The Board recently approved the installation of knock out roses near both traffic circles to replace ornamental grasses that have been impacted by the drought. Recreation – A schedule for the 2015 events will be provided in the next issue and posted on Facebook. Annual Meeting – The Board is scheduling the meeting sometime in mid-May and we will be offering electronic voting for the open Board positions again this year. We have one open Board position and one up for re-election. Please consider this opportunity to have a voice in your community.
