LCN ANNUAL ACC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ASSESSMENT
Upcoming Annual Assessment Reminder….Greetings Laurel Creek Residents! As the holiday season approaches quickly, annual assessments can as well! Get ahead of the curve by early budgeting and preparing for those annual assessments. Annual assessments are due each year January 1st. Currently, your community manager, accounting team and board of directors are budgeting for Laurel Creek’s 2016 operating expenses and upcoming community projects. After review of the draft budget, the board will adopt a final budget and set assessment rate. Afterwards, each homeowner will receive a 2016 annual assessment invoice via mail late November to mid-December. Annual assessment invoices will be mailed to the property address on file unless you have provided, in writing, an alternate mailing address to Crest Management Company other than the property address. If you do not reside at the property and do not receive mail at the property, it is your responsibility to provide your alternate mailing address to Crest Management in writing via e-mail, mail or fax. If mailing regular mail or faxing, please confirm receipt of delivery. If you do not receive your annual assessment invoice by midDecember, please contact your community accountant, Dianne Broyles to obtain a copy or make arrangements before assessments are due January 1st. Attention Laurel Creek Homeowners….Committee Volunteer(s) Needed! The Laurel Creek Board of Directors is looking to fill one (1) position on the neighborhood's Architectural Control Committee (ACC). The duties of the ACC are to review applications received from homeowners for proposed exterior modifications or improvements to their property. The ACC does not set guidelines or policies but rather applies the deed restrictions that all members of the neighborhood agrees to upon purchasing of their home. Positions of committees are by appointment of the board of directors. It is recommended that anyone interested in being appointed and volunteering on the ACC should have a history of compliance with the deed restrictions of the community and ACC rules. COMMUNITY MAINTENANCE Upcoming Laurel Creek Community Maintenance….A few projects currently on the schedule for the Laurel Creek community’s common areas this year include: common area sidewalk repairs; the second phase of common area tree trimming; and monument lighting repairs/replacement. For next year, the board is currently seeking community involvement and assistance for general and routine maintenance needed in the park/playground areas and throughout the community.
