HELP KEEP LAUREL CREEK MERRY AND BRIGHT!
Crest Management Company and your community management team would like to wish the community of Laurel Creek a very merry and safe holiday season! We look forward to ringing in the New Year with Laurel Creek NAI and here is to a great 2016! Just as a friendly reminder, please note your annual maintenance fee for 2016 is due by January 1st in the amount of $800. Please contact your community accountant, Dianne Broyles, at Dianne.Broyles@crestmanagement.com prior to your January 1st due date for payment options or for a copy of your invoice.
With the holiday and winter seasons upon us, please remember your property still requires some TLC. Maintaining your property is not only a deed-restricted requirement but also a courtesy to your community and your neighbors to assist in the overall community aesthetics as well as aide in maintaining property values. Please assist in maintaining a merry Laurel Creek this holiday season by keeping up with your property’s general routine maintenance and lawn care. Please also remember to remove holiday decorations no later thirty (30) days after the noted holiday. Remember to properly dispose of trash in the proper trash receptacles, which must be stored from public view when not a trash day. Please contact Crest Management to report any deed restriction inquiries or concerns. We would like to encourage neighbor-toneighbor communication in regards to matters such as barking dogs, noise disturbances from holiday parties, parking in the street or any issue considered neighbor-to-neighbor or where the association cannot enforce county regulations and/or laws.
290 Corridor Construction Project Are you tired of the delay from construction on Highway 290 and want to know when it will end? The Texas Department of Transportation held a public meeting on September 1 and 3 to explain that the design has been changed to meet the ever increasing demands of the population growth in the Northwest side of Houston. Laurel Creek sits in a hot growth area as evidenced by the construction on West road between Gessner and the Beltway. In fact, the explosion of the growth caused the engineers to rethink our needs. Instead of having four in-bound and four out-bound lanes, the expansion of the freeway is now contemplated to have five lanes of traffic each way plus a dedicated and reversible HOV lane. TXDOT expects to finish the project in 2017. Let’s hope they finish on time and that our commute-time will be lessened. Copyright © 2016 Peel, Inc.
