LAKE HOUSTON LADIES CLUB January Meeting

Lake Houston Ladies Club is a social organization dedicated to connecting women through monthly luncheon meetings, social activities and interest groups.

Our next luncheon meeting is Tuesday, January 17 from 10:0012:00 at the Walden Country Club, 18100 Walden Forest Drive, in Humble, TX. The cost is $15/person for lunch and entertainment.

Suzan Styron from St. Luke’s Foundation will give a lecture on “Improving Your Memory” This fun lecture will provide tips and techniques to improve your memory, attention, and overall cognitive health.

The club welcomes new members from all surrounding areas. Many interest groups are available including: Readers Choice, Tea Time, Lunch ‘N Look, Movie Group, Supper Club, Girl’s Night Out, and many game groups (Bridge, Mah Jongg, Pokeno, Canasta, Bunco).

There are also social events through the year that include spouses or significant others. The club is an excellent way to meet new people and make new friends.

Out on the Course FROST DELAY SCHEDULE

Golfing members at Walden on Lake Houston With the upcoming winter season upon us I would like to put a “frost delay schedule” in motion. If there is a “HARD” frost we will open the course at 10am on both tees. This will give us time to service the course and maintain good playing conditions thru the winter season. We want to avoid damaging

the course by getting out too early. As a rule 40 degrees is the bench mark for getting out. That is for the maintenance crew which needs 20-30 minutes head start to set up “YOUR” course. Please bare with us during these cold days, we care about you and the course equally.
