Message from the Board It’s that time of year; the Super Bowl is history and congratulations go to the Philadelphia Eagles for their first Super Bowl victory. Now the football season is over, and we now look forward to baseball and the hopes that the Houston Astros will repeat as the World Champions in 2018. Still there are many of our families, friends and neighbors who are still putting their lives together after Hurricane Harvey. This year has started out as one of the coldest winters in history. Many of us have suffered frozen and broken pipes, loss of trees, shrubs and plants with the weather. The challenges seem to keep coming one after the other. However, we are “Atascocita Proud”, and we will meet these challenges and continue to build for the future.

buy your house again? Many of us need a new roof, new paint or landscaping that could improve, not only your home, but the entire ACIA community. So the challenge is, “what do we need to do to improve our property and our friend’s and family’s properties”.

The ACIA board of trustees, also has our challenges. We are making plans for the present and the future. We look forward to the spring time and good weather. The board has bids out for lawn maintenance, and we are getting ready to open the pools and tennis courts for our enjoyment. We will continue to meet our challenges, and will strive to make Atascocita the best place to live in Texas. We are “Atascocita Proud”.

In closing, please keep Kevin Kilgore and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Kevin is still fighting hard to recover from his massive stroke and can use our support in his fight. The Kilgore family has done a lot for this community! We don’t want to consider what would have happened to this community if The Kilgore family did not do what they did with The Overlook and the Golf Course.

As we look at the ACIA community, we see many challenges for all of us. As stated before, many are still putting their lives together after Hurricane Harvey and the deep freeze of winter. We ask that you look at your homes, and ask yourself would you Copyright © 2018 Peel, Inc.

Let’s all get excited! Welcome the New Year and the beautiful spring time weather, and continue to make Atascocita the greatest place to live in Texas. The smell of cut grass and budding flowers is just around the corner. Longer days and backyard barbeques are here. Let’s get out and enjoy the community’s swimming pools and tennis courts, or take a walk and a bike ride. We all need to enjoy our hard work.

Thank You The ACIA Board
