Revised Fence Guidelines

Many of the issues requiring clarification, and the necessity of a decision, have to do with fence replacement as well as tree removal or replacement. Modifications have been made to the fence guidelines and have been reviewed by our legal counsel and finally approved. The process for approval is not complicated but necessary. The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is appointed by the Board of Directors and responsible for upholding the Silverlake Homeowner’s Association Architectural Guidelines for exterior modifications and improvements to your property. Any changes, permanent or temporary, to the exterior appearance of your home are subject to review for approval by the ACC. The review process is not limited to major additions or alterations, such as adding a room, deck or patio, but also includes all exterior items such as changes in paint color, materials, roof, fences, trees, sheds etc. An application form is also required when an existing item is removed. The request form can be found at www.crest-management. com. Click on Exterior Modification Request Form from the home page. Be sure to upload all supporting documents accompanying the electronic form. Application requests are required for every exterior modification to your home/ property. Become familiar with the HOA website for accessing other documents such as a request to rent the clubhouse for a private function, pool schedule and much more helpful information.
