Record Turnout at 4th of July Parade in Westlake Austin, TX: The Westlake Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 18th annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration with record attendance of over 2000 attendees and parade participants. This family-friendly event led by the Westlake Fire Department started in the parking lot of Independent Bank and continued down Westlake Drive, Rocky River Drive and Reveille Drive. Texas Honey Ham Company provided over 2000 of their famous breakfast tacos to the crowd. Pinkberry, Trianon Coffee and Amy’s Ice Cream provided complimentary snacks and beverages to participants and attendees as well. In addition to the contest winners, AT&T Westlake raffled off a pair of AirPods at their booth. The lucky winner was Mrs. Corbin Miller. The Westlake Chamber would like to extend a special thanks to the area businesses who helped sponsor this annual event: Independent Bank, Primrose School of West Lake Hills, Texas Honey Ham Company, Belmont Senior Village, Birds Barbershop, Camp Gladiator and Austin Sculpt & Tone. Plans are already in place to make the July 4th Parade 2019 even bigger and more spectacular than this year’s event.
