PARK CREEK KNOCK OUT CHILD ABUSE: INAUGURAL CHARITY BOXING EVENT BENEFITING THE CHILDREN’S ASSESSMENT CENTER by The PR Boutique
Thu, September 20, 2018 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM CDT The Revaire 7122 Old Katy Road Houston, TX 77024 Are you ready to rumble? Chaired by Ursaline Hamilton and Jordan Seff, the inaugural Knock Out Child Abuse benefiting The Children's Assessment Center is a spinoff of Black Tie Boxing, a professional charity boxing match hosted by Benjamin Berg and Lou Savarese in February 2017. More than 20 amateur boxers, who work in the Houston energy industry as commodity traders, brokers and executives by day, have been recruited to fight in this exclusive, one-of-a-kind charity event. Before they battle it out for a good cause in September, the boxers will endure extensive training under the supervision and coaching of Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Lou Savarese. While the men contend in 10 three-round fights, guests will roll with the punches while indulging in passed hors d’oeuvres, libations and a 4-course seated dinner by B&B Butchers & Restaurant at reserved ringside seats and tables. Outside the ring, the fighters will also compete against each other to see who can raise the most funds for The CAC before the big match. Proceeds from the ticket and table sales, sponsorships and donations will benefit the Houston-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community.
