5th Annual Woodwind Lakes Christmas on the Lake

Saturday, December 1st, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Rain Date – Sunday, December 2nd) @ Grounds of the Family Pool Kick off the Holiday Season with your friends and neighbors at the fantastic neighborhood family event. There will be FUN, FOOD and of course a visit from SANTA. He will be available for pictures from 4:30 pm until about 7:00 pm. Make sure your kids bring their wish list and of course bring your camera. You do not want to miss this great photo opportunity with Santa.

Various games including our version of CornHole for the older kids.

•

Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and beverages will be provided free thanks to the HOA. We are asking residents to provide desserts. If you can contribute a homemade treat, please contact Lynn Collins at lynn.collins@garygreene.com.

Ring Toss for Wine is a fun "adult" game new this year’s event. A $5 donation will get you 6 rings to toss to ring a bottle of wine. Bring your money, donate to our event and "ring" in your holiday wine.

Silent Auction will be awesome this year with items donated by residents as well as local vendors. We will take cash or check so buy a treasure and help fund this great event.

Luminaries on the Lake will be the night of the event only. See the lake lit up with hundreds of candles.

Many activities are planned for both the young and the young at heart with prizes for all. •

Old fashioned cakewalk with cookies and brownies provided by members of the WWL Women's Club.

Crafts and crayon table for the younger kids.

Alarms Deputies responded to 6 residential alarms that were all cleared as false or cancelled.

The Woodwind Lakes Christmas Committee will meet at the family pool Saturday, November 17th at 9:00 am to decorate for Christmas. Unless you moved here in 2018, I am sure you have enjoyed our beautiful decorations in past years. Believe it or not, we use at least 70 extension cords and over 300 strings of lights. It takes a lot of “manpower" hours to create this beautiful gift to the neighborhood. The committee would really appreciate all the help we can get! If you can give us any of your time, please show up at the pavilion and take part in this labor of love. Bring your kids and share with them the satisfaction of giving to your community.
