Arts in Education The Silvercrest PTA sponsored performances for all of our students in March of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat by Main Street Theater's Touring Company. Based on the book of the same name, these talented actors and actresses entertained our students (and teachers) with a live performance of the wildly popular Dr. Seuss classic. The Cat in the Hat, along with Thing One and Thing Two (who brought mayhem and fun!), took Sally, her brother, and the fish on a madcap adventure! Parents and students also enjoyed a preview of this experience through a character visit of the Cat in the Hat at our General PTA Meeting in March! The Silvercrest PTA joined other PTAs in our district at the Pearland ISD Council of PTA’s annual event, International Festival, held on Saturday, March 21st. With the help of some amazing volunteers, everyone had a great time! Kids participated in our activity, African Line Art, inspired by South Africa. The variety of creativity across all of the participants shone bright, and what a fun keepsake to take home!
Upcoming Spirit Night: 4/23 - Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night It’s never too late to join the Silvercrest PTA, www.joinPTA. org . Join us in support of student success and building a strong Silvercrest community.
