Keep Briarhills Beautiful Residents in our neighborhood have recently observed a group of teenagers throwing their leftover food on the ground at the Briarhills common facility’s parking lot and surrounding areas. We want to be respectful to those who maintain the property and to our fellow residents who wish to enjoy clean facilities. Please remind everyone in your household to refrain from littering around the neighborhood. Trash cans are conveniently located in the park and court areas. Also, please keep the street in front of your homes free of leaves, mud, and standing water. These small things can help keep Briarhills beautiful.

Water Fountain Addition to Briarhills Park

A big thank you goes out to Doerte Steinhoff and the Briarhills POA Landscaping Committee in their work to reconnect the water fountain and get it working again. The water fountain is situated between the patio and the tennis courts under the oak tree. It is conveniently located for anyone who may be enjoying the gardens, tennis courts, basketball court, playground or Terry Hershey trails. Years ago, the water fountain was located on the side of the young children’s playground behind the old clubhouse. At some point it stopped working, and it was finally disconnected from the clubhouse when it was demolished in 2018. It is so great that we got it reconnected and working a g a i n , p ro b a b l y a f t e r 15 years! It is a piece of Briarhills history! Briarhills - January 2022

3rd Annual Easter Seals Charity Drive a Success

We had a lovely time on Saturday, December 4th at the Briahills 3rd Annual Charity drive, helping out the Easter Seals Foundation and The Make A Wish Foundation. Families dropped off gift cards and supplies to be donated to Easter Seals. Attending children got to write letters to Santa, which were then dropped off to Macy’s Believe mailbox station 4

located in Memorial City Mall. Macy’s donates $1 for each “Dear Santa” letter to the Make A Wish Foundation. The board would like to thank our neighbors that came to the event and so generously donated to these worthy causes! Also, a big thank you to Maria Galiotos for spearheading the drive!
