New Playground & Volleyball Net The new clubhouse playground installation and volleyball net upgrades have been completed! Thanks to the LOE parents who gave input on the playground features. With multiple slides and a mini rockclimbing wall, it is proving to be popular with many LOE children.

A huge thank you to Dan Massingill for organizing the volleyball court upgrade. The new poles were donated by Jimmy Kash and installed with pads for safer play. A great updated addition to LOE! Lakes on Eldridge - March 2022 1

Lakes on Eldridge Kirk Elementary School

Back Gate Entrance on Summerland Ridge Many of our younger residents attend Kirk Elementary and it is a great advantage for their parents to be able to drop off and pick them up at the back gate on Summerland Ridge. Unfortunately, we have received reports of non-LOE parents using the back gate which is an LOE-only benefit and the extra vehicles are adding to the congestion. Do not loan remotes to friends outside of LOE to give them this private access. If you are picking up your child by car, please follow the guidelines below: •

Please park on one side of the road only along the school fence to avoid having children cross the street especially from between parked cars

Avoid parking on the cul-de-sac and across from or in front of driveways

No double parking

These guidelines are for the safety of our children and residents. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Summerland Ridge is intended to be one-way east bound only during 3:40 pm – 4:30 pm

SECURITY AND SAFETY Gate Remote Rules Reminder Please remember that homeowners are responsible for all use of gate remotes assigned to their residence. Remotes are issued to and are only for use by residents. They are not for friends, frequent guests or service personnel such as nannies, pool and yard maintenance etc. Providing remotes to people other than those in your household is violating the rules and puts the security of LOE at risk. Should you lose your remote please report it to First Service Residential immediately so that it may be deactivated and removed from the gate opening system. The safety and security of LOE is a shared responsibility and we appreciate your cooperation in following these simple rules.

Most of us chose to live in LOE because it is a safe neighborhood and each of us has a responsibility to contribute to this environment. Speeding and running stop signs may get you home seconds sooner but are those seconds worth increasing the possibility of accidently hitting a child playing or not seeing a pedestrian crossing the street? This might happen in an instant but could permanently change your and another family’s lives forever. Please, please, please, slow down and remind all drivers in your household as well as visitors and contractors to be considerate and obey the traffic rules. Your help will let everyone continue to feel safe in LOE!
